pretty much! I have a friend who's hubby gets her flowers on a daily basis, and she once asked if it bothered me that Adam doesn't do that. I was like, are you kidding?? Not every relationship works the same way!

11 Years in December... but I agree with you about the flowers things... there is more to marriage than show man ship....

lol this is such a coincidence

Brian(my boyfriend) just propose me to marry him a months ago

it was very cool/nice proposal and a crazy one indeed

He took me and my sister to watch Dont mess with the Zohan ..

so we got there and he asked if I could get us a frappuccino wile he buy the tickets so I was like sure why not... then he asked the manager if...

so when I got back we were going in and he said u know what let me get some popcorn so save me a seat... and I went inside and waited until he gets back as the room was getting full...

then out of no where the screen turned white.

and I saw him going to the front along with two security guys so I though he got in trouble and as I was nervous and wondering what was going on he shout out loud.... Nikki!!!! Would u merry me!!! and got on his knees with a ring ... I nearly had a heart attack and rush to him and hug him wile I loudly said YES!!!!

and the cool part is that everyone in the room claped really hard

and that is how I went to see Zohan and now im getting marry next year

I proposed twice, actually:

First time - At her house, I had a really, really cruddy ring, but I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me, with the promise that she would get a real engagement ring when I was set financially >.>...

Second time - At her birthday party with most of her family around, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me again, and at that point it was a an actual diamond ring and considered completely official.

Both times, it took me forever to ask, because I get very, very nervous with big events.

Well I have a plan when we are ready for marriage, im going to get her mother to train me how to ride a horse and i am goingto track her down one day when she is out having fun with a friend or two and i will come up to her on the horse dressed as a knight and i will dismount and enter the routine of one knee with the ring, yada yada, then i will take her away on the horse with me to god knows where and probably watch the sun set

I havent asked Kelly yet, but I plan on doing it sometime soon (like before the end of the month).

She's expecting a ring for her birthday, and she's not gonna get it (I got her a PDA instead).

So I'm normally a person who plans things out way in advance, and all that crap. But, I think I'm just gonna wing it and see how things go. The best proposals are ones that are spur of the moment anyway...

Kever I have a girl, I am not going to ask her to marry me thats all.

But heres one this happen many years ago (3) and was a mistake.

So I had seen this girl all through highschool, and when I turned 18 I got it stuck in my head that I wanted to marry her, so we went up to my aunts cottage, its right on the lake, and they have a sun-room that has a fantastic view.

So on the last day I cooked her dinner, and hid the ring inside her fav dessert, which is chocolate cake with melted chocolate in the center. It was right at the end of sun set so everything looked amazing, and I was pretending not to be paying attention when she was getting close to ring.

So I kinda turn around right as I guess she was going to find the ring, and lo and behold its in the scoop she has, but she doesn't notice it, and I only realize it this as she's putting it in her mouth. So I yell for her not to chew, and that scares her, and she swallows it.

The ring ended up cutting up her throat pretty bad, and ruining her vocal cords. It took 3 surgeries and over a year of healing before she could talk normal again. Plus she had to puke up the ring.

So ya thats my story.

Also yes this is all made up, right off the top of my head
