ORIGINAL: SUP3R Why did this fail? http://www.n4g.com/NewsPending-195320.aspx Great so now that I've gotten 0 responses(not that I expected any) I'll show why this story should not have failed. I'm sure many of you may have missed this bit of news so I'll share it with you now: quote:
Just recently added to the ranks of Warhammer bloggers is none other than Mythic's head honcho himself, Mr. Mark Jacobs. Jacobs has hung out his shingle at a site entitled Online Games Are a Niche Market, a reference to a bad conversation he had with AOL execs back in the day. Hard to believe AOL could be shortsighted about anything. He's already put up several interesting posts, which we think are well worth checking out. He reiterates and expands on some of the comments he made in his MTV article when discussing the role of WAR's success or failure in the market. He also directly answers questions from commenters in not one but two posts. It's great to see a busy guy like Mark getting into the trenches to address fan questions; perhaps you've got one for him as well? The founder of Mythic has started his own blog and as stated in the quote above, he conducts(almost daily) community Q&A's discussing Warhammer Online as well as other various Industry topics. Now according to the rules, blog entries from industry professionals are ok for submission. So with that I'll ask again.... Why did it fail? I usually ignore failures, but failing this story is blocking actual news for an anticipated upcoming game. It's the reason I posted it in the first place. If it didn't contain any useful information I wouldn't have submitted it. I could give a damn about submission score and all that BS. My concern is the obvious preference for what is considered news. That pisses me off. Is this thread even taken seriously? That should have been my first question.
