Just do things which keep your mind off of it, however there will be points when you have to think about this moment maybe to truthfully get it out of your head. I suggest you play more games, listen to music, read books/newspapers etc and go out with friends and have a laugh.

This always works for me: think of every girl you've had before, even the crushes when you were younger. now think of how much you thought you loved, or were attached to them when you guys were into each other. Think of how silly you feel now that you've net some one better, and realise that this is how you will feel when you mee someone better(and it WILL happer) than the girl you've just broken up with.

When I broke up with someone I really cared about, I watched both series of the Friend's spin off "Joey" in about 2 weeks. It was nice to have something to laugh at, and the theme song was quite uplifting.

My point is, that being able to smile again is what will help you through it. There will be tears, but that's natural. Just remember that your whole life is ahead of you.

Oh one more thing, you'll know yourself whether drinking \ porn will help or hinder, follow your instincts when it comes to those.

embrace the feeling, you aren't always going to feel so strongly about another person, feeling something this intense even if its bad, is still something worth enduring.
