Unfortunately no. Certain external cases aren't compatible with the PS3.

Why not? Just reformat it as FAT32 if it's NTSC (I had to do that) and it works.

Nope. The NexStar 3 doesn't work well with the PS3, sometimes it won't detect it.

I don't use this HDD with my PS3 anyway though, so I use NTSC, FAT32 sucks.

Again thanks for all the replies found it very helpfull,...Now could one of the talented N4G personel maybe put this info somewhere ppl that need it could find it ,Im sure i cannot be the only person who wasnt aware . thanks
