I wonder if theyll ever make a hybrid truck. because all i see with this hybrid green stuff is cars..

I saw one time on the discovery channel a truck that was made entirely out of corn(I can't explain it). Uglier than hell. Bright white and red. I think it was being made by Toyota.

haha could ya eat it?

Actually, they did say it was possible to eat it, wouldn't exactly be healthy but if given the appropriate circumstances, then you could! I think they compressed tons of corn husks and stalks and stuff to make it. It still uses a steel frame, obviously.

haha that sounds cool, but i dont know if i would own one. I just dont like the idea of driving a huge...corn.

Lol, nice. I don't want it either, but the bed was pretty cool. It had a slide on/slide off cover that you put on/off by pressing a button, and it rolls up inside the cab. But... imagine how flammable it is...

I've wanted that Tesla card since I first stumbled upon it 2 years ago, that baby is an awesome sports car.  But really, what i'd like is a car/submarine.  It exists, I just don't feel like looking for it.

Yeah, I found the last car that I would ever buy too until I wrapped it into the side of the bridge.  Some **** in a Camaro SS was mad that I had the jump on him so he cut me into the Thousand Oaks Bridge.  It was a red '96 Mitsu VR4 with 5.5" HKS Superdraggers, RPM INc Headers, Greddy TT, and 20" Sumitomos.  I ****in' loved that car dude.  Now I drive a Monster Truck.

VR4's are so much ****in' fun.  Anyone remember the GTO's on GT1 and how everyone wanted to grab that blue one and get loose?    Yeah..............

Wow, monster truck?
Hows the gas mileage on that baby?

Dude..it's a 500hp turbo diesel with a Superchip and Magna Exhaust custom built by my buddy who own his own shop.  I don't care much about gas mileage -- I just care about getting to the lake.

I. Hate. You. I'm stuck with an 86 ford ranger. It's stick shift(which I like, actually) but only 2 wheel drive, no working AC, one working speaker, rusted in some parts... But really the engine stays running like I want, slow ass car. But I hate you still.

You need bigger tires Maddens so you can go get your revenge on the guy who totaled your other car.

Not a bad car... I'd still rather get a Porsche or a Lamborghini.

Still... you know you'd be jealous seeing someone drive a 2009 Porsche. I know I would.

@ Mystery:

Hah, before I'd get a Porsche (never) I'd got for a Lotus Elise or just get the Tesla Roadster:

Has incredible stats for an electric car (and is part Lotus) but I'm not keen on 2 seaters. I don't intend on lugging the world with me but I do usually have a couple people with me and I often shop  or have things that take a considerable amount of space so that thing would make situations mighty cramped.

I love the Karma because it's a sedan that still apparently has some power, is a hybrid so I won't need to rely on gas that much if at all (if I stay under 80km/50miles in one way), and it looks like the Cheshire Cat and the Batmobile made sweet love down by the fire and had a baby.

The only negative is the price, but the prospect of not having to go to the pump nearly as much wins me over a bit more. I'm not sure what the parity between what I'd save on gas compared to what I'd save on just getting a Lexus IS F (the other car I want and yes I know they're Toyotas but I love Toyotas) over the years would be, I'm going to have to do the math on that one. Sadly all the things that are supposed to be good for you and the environment are the most expensive.
