It's sort of sad that some people do not like the game. Dennis Dyack seems like a really nice guy.

He should have made a nice game then. I felt no pity for free radical when haze flopped. They were cocky as hell with the game. I remember in an interview someone asked if sony had come to give them a hand with their development since devs were having trouble with PS3 hardware. FRD response was yea they came but we don't need their help lol and see what happened. They were clowning around in every single interview.

In regards to too human i think few will like it some will hate it some will find it manageable

Impressions

- Gameplay so far has been fun
- Very wowesque talent trees
- Graphics not as horrible as some have said
- Original setting
- Reminiscent of mass effect in menus, presentation and sci fi gadgets
- Diablo comparisons are valid, and a good thing

- Text very hard to read on SDTV
- Dont quite understand techno- norse story
- Why melee when you can shoot?
- Female characters are ugly
- Changing equipment menu is clunky and should be able to be done on the fly
- Dont know how to heal other than orbs?

So far my i like what i have played. Combat is deeper than i thought it would be with several stick combinations and shooting thrown in. Cinematic mass effect style presentation which i loooooove!  I think the co op will be alot of fun, but they realyl should have stuck with 4 player.

Now going back to play more!

I agree with you, it is not as bad as some people are saying.

Graphically i think it looks good and the cut scenes are well played out with decent voice acting.

Story seems interesting but it is difficult to tell from a demo.

Problems: Camera is annoying as there is little control over it and the fighting is not really very exciting.

Too easy to auto aim shoot rather than using the sword. I also found the equipment/skills menu overcomplicated and had no real idea what I was doing.

It is not really my type of game but it is decent enough to receive 7 or 8.

I liked the combat, and animations were alot better than expected. But the camera, equipment screen, and dialogue are just ****ing atrocious.

So some people like it, some people don`t think it is as bad as people are making it out to be, and other feel the need to make sure people know it is horrible and the worst failure ever. Must be an ok game then, lol

and Bama, just by reading your bio you can tell this game is not for you, you don`t like it...get over it :p

There are parts of the game that are plain out broken, which needs to be mentioned
-skill tree
-equipment menu
-camera
-dialogue

It's a DEMO! It's not the final product. The demo on live is from E3 06, That's why it's horrible. In the final package they will fix everything.

They don't fix much after demo's.    They just release them to please their fans and to show their confidence in the game.

@ngg12345

-skill tree
-equipment menu

I`ll tell you, from my perspective of being a huge wow player, the skill tree and inventory are fine for a console. It does take some getting used to but aftet that I`m sure it is fine.

-camera

I agree but I dont see how much better it could of been besides being static or completly free, wich would have both been bitched about anyways.

-dialogue

I liked it, but that is very subjective if you ask me.

In the end it will be a love or hate thing, if you like hack and slashers you will give it a chance and enjoy, or maybe not but the game is not for every one and not as bad as some people are saying, imho. And somehow I think some other news has taken center stage so the Too human bashing should be minimal, lol

i thought it was decent nothing too special though. People are going to say negative things about a game regardless but in my opinion its definatley a rental. The  melee combat for some reason just isnt that fun for me i would much rather shoot.

I agree that the demo wasn't great.  It wasn't a horrible game, just not the next best thing.

Is it true that it took them 10 years to make this? That's just sad.... They can do better.... I think....

Well I finally downloaded the demo, to be honest I REALLY didn't expected the game to be like that...the gameplay felt awkward at least initially later on its wasn't as awkward but I still didn't felt very comfortable with the game play and I think a large majority of it was due to the whole dual analog stick gameplay but one thing worth mentioning was that the combo fighting when well executed looked VERY cool...but it would have been better if the camera would have been more cinematic during those moments...in terms of graphics yes its VERY average -_-

At the end I am not 100% convinced so I guess I will probably replay the demo and wait for the reviews

imo...the worst part about the gameplay was the camerawork or lack of control of the camera.  everything else was tolerable, if not enjoyable.  I did like the skill set mapping system.

I liked:
The art style. It was really cool in places.
The way they appear to be telling the story.

I didn't like:
The combat
Menus
Voice acting

7.3/10 - nothing amazing, could have been better. I might get it 2nd hand at some point down the line.
