It got canned, so no. The media bashed it for a while I believe, and Sony responded with the classic looking Sixaxis.

The boomerang controller, on the other hand...

Come on, just mimic the shape with your hands, and imagine you're playing a fast-paced FPS with it.

Nah I was just curious. Sony is always promising a lot at first, but then in the end its all delayed. Like Home again no release out of beta. The colours is again such a thing.

IF I would ever, that means if it gets cheap enough and would get stuff I wanted to play, buy a PS3 it would be a white one.

I have a white 360 and an white PSP Fat and white PSP Slim (the last one also isn't officially on sale in Europe another Sony failure in distribution).

And nope, I won't import a Japanese PS3 ever. No warranty on that amount of money no thanks. I know a guy that is working on the central point of shipment for Sony and sees the daily PSP, PS3 etc. repair shipments. PSP is really low, not much problems. PS3 with the 40GB model and the price drop was made of cheaper components, he stated that daily about 600 PS3 (mostly 40GB's) for the Netherlands only are coming back.

Seems they do it the other way around as MS. 360 had most problems at launch, then got better. PS3 needed a pricedrop, so the quality went down instead of up.

That's why I would never import a piece of software and have no warranty at all.

But I guess still no word on different colours for Europe, no one knows overhere?

You could spray paint the PS3 white.

Haha yeah I've seen those on the net yeah. But I guess the warranty also is gone if Sony finds white paint inside the case if it comes in for repairs :P

But really. The only thing that I find funny, new, refreshing on the PS3 now is Little Big Planet. I won't buy a PS3 for it though, certainly not for 400 Euro in black without a rumble controller. I could buy one if it is somewhere between 250 and 300 Euro in ceramic white with the Dual Shock 3 included. But I guess with the speed Sony does things normally that will not be before the year 2010 HAH!

Well yeh thats the problem you can void the warranty of your console by spray painting it and admittly Sony seems to hate the EU for some reason, takes them ages to get updates released over here, store is poor compared to the US or Japan store and some other stuff. Still the PS3 is a great console, I'm annoyed that Littlebigplanet got pushed back to Ocotober.
