Status: offline 		They both are HUGE winner,caz both of them are shooters,and ppl buy shooters.let's hope games like bayonetta sell well,so we could see more not-fps games.I know it's wishfull thinking,but come on, buy not-fps games too,thanks to all.

Status: offline 		Well, I didn't really like the first Gears all that much, and Gears 2 looks like the exact same game to me, so in my personal opinion, it'll probably be Resistance 2. I also think Resistance 2 shows more advancement over it's first installment, and shows more in terms of creativity, "epic-ness", and to be honest just looks like more fun to play. I suppose I just find Insomniac's games to have more creative charm that Epic's games.

This is all just my opinion though, and of course Gears is going to sell far more that Resistance.

Status: offline 		i bought a 360 for GOW2 i played the original Resistance for a yr, yes thats right even to th point PS3 was celebrating its birthday (online was gr8 imo) I can only say out of sense GOW2 might sell more cus of the 360's install base

why are you talking? Its Gears 2, becausre Gears 1 with like a 8 million person global usberbase sold something like 5 million or 4 million copies

Status: online 		I didn't think either of the originals were that good. They're both fun but nowhere near as good as COD4 or MGS4. The sequels are clearly improved but now they have to compete with Far Cry 2 and COD5 (my money for best shooter this year is on FC2).

Out of the two I prefer resistance because it's not shoving a load of annoying hyper-american macho crap in my face. Plus the cloverfield monster, the 60 player online and the 8 player co-op are all exciting.
