According to that quote from that moderator, not enough of us want this. I want to prove to him that there is a lot of us who do want this. But, let me make it clear first, so we all agree.

We want an Online Gaming/Matchup section so we can do the following:

Play with our friends online(der!!!)
Have a easier way to find people who have the games we want to play online.
Be able to set up online matches without having to fly all over the forums to find people, this will also keep the number of these threads down(BFBC, Warhawk, MGS4, GTA4, all examples of online games that had too many threads.
Have a sub section for each system to make things more convenient.
Move the PSN ID, Xbox Live Gamertag, and WII codes into those sub sections to help us find each other online.

If there are anymore ideas to add to the list, feel free to tell me. But let's show them that we really want this, and that it is necessary.

Why not just put your gamertag or whatever in your sig?

b/c i need that space...my psn is my username here anywz, but still, its not a big deal, if i need to, i will link everyone to the thread with everyone's gamertag/psnID/wii code if i had to

i want this i love playing online games and it would be so much easier if we had a whole forum dedicated to tournaments hang outs and exhibitions.

I think this is a great idea, It would be so much easier and convenient to have a section specially for us that game online and want to match up with fellow n4gers. I don't know how much work it would be to do this for the N4G members [us] after all we do come to N4G for gaming. But if sections were done for single games, then I see why not a section for this.

I love playing with every single person I've ever encountered on this forum.

Usually people I don't speak to much here are a blast in online games.

I'll gladly support this. ^_^ It's a great idea. It'd be nice, after all, to be able to create tournaments where the current standings and other information are held in a thread there.

As Diselage has said, we need to see the support from A LOT of you to implement this sooner rather than later.

My information indicates that this feature will be coming, but as for how soon, that is a question that remains to be answered. I do know that in the next large site update we will be gaining many new and quality features for you guys.

For now, using the specific threads has worked in the past, and that is a system that is not broken. Use that for the time being, and we will work on getting this online gaming section up and running as soon as we see the support and confirmation from Dusty/DragonFly.

I've already voiced my thoughts on this several times.....I think its well needed. It'll organize the fourms better for a more user friendly experience. Online gaming and matchups have become big this summer with alot of people out of school/ college. especially around the weekends.

So I support this.

The issue is, when you move a thread to the site suggestions section, no one sees it b/c it doesnt appear on the list of active threads, which is why i made this new one. You can't expect for people to voice their opinion if they can't find it

lol, I agree with that. thats why I say threads come here to die. Some members do frequent this fourm, but most just check out whats in the active thread list......heck, some members probally dosen't even know the fourm exist.
