Now that they've seen how well this game is doing I am putting money down that MS will put money down to keep this game on their system. But either way a PS3 version won't be out if it comes till 2008 prob end of Q1 or Q2 so its importance is all but gone.

I was right thats all thats important

Except for those who got it, as it only sold 2 million between pc and 360, there's still an audience intrested in it too, it's funny how people who oppose another console try to downplay its significance...

So, since we already know kojima said mgs4 will never come 2 360, speaking hypothetically, we know its importance will gone 2 right? It'll be dumbed down with blurrier graphics, allot longer loading times, 2 or more disks, and mgo would have 2 come on its own disk because not even if god came down 2 earth and compressed it;would fit on one disk, or 2 for that matter...

We're willing to admit that right? If you can't fess up 2 that, I'd suggest you zip up e-pants, as your 360 fanboy is showing..

LOL only sold 2 million copies, a new IP that had a very niche look, gameplay, and story, only sold 2 million copies.

Its not important now, if Sony was like OMG we have Bioshock for this fall, everyone will be like ya ok so what, its been out for over a year on other systems.

Also yes if MGS4 came out for the 360 next year, its importance would be gone, anyone who really wanted to play it will have played it by then.

don't worry about my e-pants cause your ass is showing. Also again I'll take 5 seconds of disc swaping over 5-20 minutes of installs anyday.

Oh if you did get the ass showing bit I am just calling you an ass

Just get it on PS3 already, that is if you have it.
Coming from a die hard PC gamer, your comment about
intall times is quite amusing.

I find amusing that these trolls love to bring up the evils of disc swapping while they wait for a game to install 5 gigs worth of data onto their hard drive. It makes them look stupid.

Also when I install a new game on my comp I don't have to worry about needing the disk in the drive anymore.

I dunno...maybe just me but i would take a one time install over disc swaps any day. MGS4 installs after every act but even still i would take that over 5 discs for each act anyday

Being a lazy bastard myself, I do prefer installing to disc swapping. As long as it's short. If MGS's installs were over 5 minutes per act, I'd be pissed. Oh, and if I ever see a game over 5GB in install data, that will also piss me off. 5 is pushing it. Still, I can't be bothered to get up and switch discs when I'm in the "zone."

i couldnt imagine how much it would suck to lose a disk on a multi-disk game (skiped from nes to ps2 so no disk changing for me)
if it was a disk 1 that would seriously piss me off since the rest would be useless

I'm careful so I don't think losing discs would be a problem for me.

Switching disks IS retarded. You should never have to do that on a PS 2, nevermind a nextgen console because it is happening mid game. I'm showing my age here, but I remenber when I had to switch disks in middle of a King's Quest game. That was ok back then, just like how 16 colors EGA was ok back then.

My only issue with installs is they don't go far enough. There should be an option to install game way pass 5 gigs, maybe to 15-20 or even full installs. I hate having to insert a disk into my console to play a game. For this reason I usually end up playing PSN games or any game thats already inside the machine.

They did have to compress the cut-scenes and reduce the quality of the cut-scenes in MGS4.
I don't think you really have a PS3 or will get one. Get one from your friend, play it then discuss about
the importance of install times. I would like to see how it turns out. Also, many eople tend to forget that it is not an
IP solely owned by Konami.

Bioshock for the PS3 seems interesting, but since the time it waas released, seems to have aged a bit.

Not to forget the fact that the developers talk about it about every singe day now.

ya I also don't remember ever having to install a game on my PS2, to say installs are ok but disc swapping is not is stupid, thats my point.

Yea, and your opinion is a fact, disc swapping is better right?Cause odion, a clearly unbiased gamer, says so?
It's all about user preference, no one cares what you think about installation, that isn't going to change the fact that there will be installs, and if it were such a big issue ps3 wouldn't be outselling 360 every month and by 1.5 million units last year? You're just a troll, the 360 forums are two forums down, troll over there, not here...

And you're talking about stupid but you support a system that supported a dead format, makes you pay for everything that you can get for free on pc or another console, and by any mention of the name of the console the word 'RROD' pops up...do you really want to talk about what's stupid and what's not?

Question is,
why do people become so emotionally attached to a piece of plastic and a few buttons?

BioShock is not cancelled for the PS3 you Xbox pricks. Stop hating on the machine you all had before your gay seX-Box came and sodomized for First-Person Shooters like Gaylo. Thats what that machine is for anyways shooters. RPG' suck on it, nobody buys platformers. And now the Halo hype wore off because Halo 3 was actually Halo 2 with sweetened graphics you have Gears of War 2, another shooter!!! Gee what will they think of next.
