maybe basic math is beyond you.

But about the WoW moments, like he said, COD4's happen once, and their done, while I can do the epic Scarab fight on the Ark, and have a mind blowing event happen almost every time.

Like seeing my tank get blown into the air doing barrel rolls only to land upside down on the Scarab

there were loads of wow moments for me in Halo 3 - the scripted ones like the ship landing on top of you on the ark and going into the flood infested ship in the fourth level but most are down to the amazing enemy AI.

Enemies will actually retreat if they feel that the fight isnt going well - on the other hand they will come out of cover and swarm you if your shields are low. Melee enemies will hide behind cover until theres an opening then charge at you. If you manage to get past an area without killing all the enemies - they will all swarm you at once..... the game itself is whats impressive. not the cutscenes

The graphics were not as top as they could be and again I think it was MS playing it safe.... I really can;t wait to see what Bungie and not the other halo games... but what bungie does with the next Halo 4....

I was dissapointed with the storyline of Halo 3, and the graphics to an extent (apart from the jungle and flood levels) - but the gameplay was still there I thought, and regardless of expectations - it was a fun game. However - I would like to see bungie doing new things with the next title. Hopefully we'll see something soon.

See for me I thought Halo 3 was a return to what made Halo CE so great... Halo CE is my number one game... I don;t have a system to play it on any more but I still have it and will keep it in my collection because it was just that damn good...

Halo 2 for me was a kick in the nuts... I like Halo series for the SP and Halo CE for me had the story right.... Halo 2 I am sorry but I hated the fact of every few mission I was not able to play as MC.... I hate playing the elite .... and the sudden ending...I hated...

Halo 3 was a breath of fresh air the really was not as good as Halo CE but had got a lot of things right and the story was one of them...It was an excellent excellent game... and to say a game is better in some ways does not take away from the fact halo 3 was great...

Come on Halo 4.. I would love to see what they do..... Honestly I would love to see a blend of FPS and TPS....

That was a pre-Halo post-Mac trailer that had Halo Universe animals in it including one that you could ride.

As long as they deliver on the intense atmosphere and storyline of the first game - I'll be happy. Whereas Halo 3 was great - it didnt have the atmosphere that made me love Halo:CE so much.

I would really, really like a game based on the battle described in the terminals in Halo 3 - playing as a forerunner during the initial outbreak of the flood.

Selling so much in 24 hours = Great marketing. Selling much on a long period of time = Great game? I could be wrong, just a theory.

Actually the US count was 2.8 million for the first day. I'm not sure what Halo did worldwide on the first day.
