As jay-2 said not all mods can do anything about the stories. I don't have mainsite powers yet, but probably will soon(i think at least lol). I intend to be in the approval section alot to help out the situation(and even then powers might be limited, but maybe not).

The contributor test definitely needs to be harder, as there are too many contributors and many don't follow the rules.

But anyways jay-2 its likely that most members in the forums aren't posting the stories, more so mainsite members.

I've submitted 13 articles to the mainsite and one of them went over 1000 degrees.

Ya, it was an article about Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. It just listed the features and space capacity the game will take up. Fanboys were fighting about the space capacity.

The 2 Sonic stories are ok because one is saying it might be real, but the other one's gone to the effect to see if a domains been created, found it and make a news story confirming it.
I have no problem with that sort of thing and that’s what we really need more on.

The only time I ever have problems are when people come out with comments like this person did. For those less educated, the word that had been used was an extremely derogatory and sexist word aimed at women.

As far as I'm concerned, people can say what they like as long as it isn't derogatory towards other people. I'm glad you were here to erase it, to be honest.

And I'm the same, Woolard... I've never felt inclined to approve anything, let alone take the Contributor Test. The main site can leave me well alone. As you all have seen, if there's a news story on the main page that I want to discuss, I'll create the topic in here and discuss it with sensible people.

Well, I took that contributor test and passed it (I think it's far too easy, any fool could pass it, as evidenced by the main site) so now I'm a Trainee, but since I can't be bothered to submit anything, I'll forever be a Trainee. I want my "Gamer" role back, that sounds much better.
