Okay... you are all stupid. Third party in this respect is exclsuive, but obviously most third party games are multiplatform.

I like your style.

Haha, needed to be said. Especially since I know what I am talking about.

Funny because I was not sarcastic. I was being completely serious. Never change.

EDIT: @grantps3

Sucker Punch is First Party. Sony own the company.

And Sony won't buy Insomniac becuase they are confident about Insomniacs sentiment towards the PS3. And as for media molecule, they may possess the same views as Insomniac. People don't always need to snatch up indie developers to monopolise, Sony doesn't want that.

If they were to invest in another developer, they should try to diversify. it's become shockingly apparent they have no RPG developers.

Don't get cocky. There is already too much generalization in your comment.

Thanks Dr Pirate... It crossed my mind you were being sarcastic, but I decided you weren't.

And indeed TwissT, if I got your attention, and then informed you well, then I am pleased.

EDIT: @harry190

Promise you I am not cocky, but generalisation? Where? I simplified things a bit, but there was no way to generalise in that comment.  There was also some assumptions made that MM might have the same sentiment towards Sony, especially if they treated them well. And they supplied them quickly with their own studio, gave them financial and schedule liberty, so I can see they would not protest working with Sony again.

It's also true Sony may want to monopolise, but I doubt it. They know it's not healthy for the industry and simply scouting for innovative games for 2nd party futures seems more sensible.

And finally... RPG's. Sony has no internal developer that produces RPG's as their staple.

You lack the same style he has. Some people can pull it off, like me and Toughname. You should stick to what you're good at Harry.

I understood what he meant. He was basically saying: stfu everyone, look, it's that simple. I like that.

About no.7, nicely picked up. I also noticed that. The developer was really smart assed it was awesome.

Someone said something about them only releasing expansions for current games, and he came back and slammed them with something along the lines of 'Well we liked to please the fans, and it's good if we can work on new stuff at the same time,' with a little wink....

Ahh, nice comeback.

Anyway, good catch, but I suspect it's still in the very conceptual stage.

No he's right Sucker Punch is a second party developer, and MM won't let them buy them out because the reason they broke off from Lionhead was because they wanted to be independent.

A studio is only consider second party if they cannot/will not make games for anyone else, Rare was a second party for Nintendo, Nintendo owned like 40% of the company.

You don't understand 2nd party then. SuckerPunch is owned by SCEA and it's therefore 1st party.

You can't be sure about Media Molecule, companies minds can chnage and with the freedom that Sony give them (and all their 1st party) everyone woudl reconsider beign indie.
