ORIGINAL: Clance About to listen. Hoping to not hear too much praise for Microsoft's over-rated, one trick show. Sony got slated but really they showed the most potential for the year. Who gives a **** about that whore Final Fantasy, selling herself on the corner, anyways? Microsoft showed more to have been considered a "one trick show." And I believe a lot of people care about the FFXIII announcement. Just because it is going multi-platform doesnt mean thatll be any less of a game on the PS3...itll probably look better than the PS3 version, but its nice for Square-Enix to expand to let the 360 owners (who either cant afford to buy or dont wanna buy a PS3) to try FFXIII. The announcement hurts noone. And if anyone boycotts this game due to it coming out on the 360 is stupid. There is no reason to be this upset over the announcement. I can understand being like "well that sucks. Oh well, at least its still coming to the PS3." If Sony made a bombshell of an announcement, I would say that and move on to decide which version to buy. We all just have to move on and except the fact its coming to both systems and leave it as the game will be amazing on both systems. Cheers for that Wolverine, I guess I just feel that Sony took some rap for their E3 performance, while I feel they are focusing a lot more on the future of gaming and, in my humble opinion, have the better roster for this year. I think both Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 will be online goliaths, while Gears 2 is gonna struggle to match up (my opinion!), although i will still be a great game. As for the FFXIII debate, I just felt that MS was kind of saved by that... To be honest though my statement was based on the fact that I have never played Final Fantasy and have never felt any urge to. That's just me though, so that announcement didn't even budge me one bit. I hardly know anybody who plays those games these days but that's just coincidence. Personally, yeah I think it's good for 360 fans to enjoy the game. Perhaps the machine won't be able to cope with the marathon sessions that game evokes in people though... still to finish the pod, loving it so far WOMBAT!!! We gotta get a Warhawk session going. I love that game. It's been a while but your mention of it last week (now you are going on about it again! Can't believe that prick going up that ladder again and again. Sounds like the Island Outpost level to me) made me turn it back on and I still have the skills to pay the bills.... I love the one shot sniper gun thing and the binoculars are awesome. I'm a devil in the air. I dont disagree with the fact that that announcing FFXIII for the 360 saved Microsoft...minus the showing of Fallout 3, Gears 2 and RE5 and the new dashboard, nothing really impressed me. I think (and so does the rest of the pod crew) Sony had the better show. Theres alot Im looking forward to from Sony. And theres no doubt that Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 will be huge. But, all-in-all, E3 failed to deliever. The only thing Im eager to see is, indeed, how Gears 2 will match up against Resistance 2....either way 360 and PS3 owners will win. And if you own both systems, well then, come November, youll be playing 2 incrediable games. I wish November was already here... I agree with you, too Maze. I dont think that Square will do that, though. If any one were to get DLC, I believe that they will give it to Sony...but youre right in saying if they are gonna do DLC, give it to both...
