The problem with an external harddrive is you can't install games on it which means you can not use it for games.

That's okay, all your games in total shouldn't take up that much space, you can just use your internal HDD for games, and the external HDD for everything else.

How was it and how long do you estimate to beat it?

8 to 10 hours(depends on the play style). If you follow the critical path, each episodes take only 10 to 15min.

I kinda liked the demo but i don't think this game is worth 10GB to me...i will kindly pass but its nice to see full sized games on the PSN. They should have probably compressed the game a little more though

I finally upgraded my HDD to 360Gb...  Well worth it, when you consider that stuff like Blood Curse and all those damn installs take up almost no room now...

You could always spend your money on better things, like Stevie, for instance. Most games nowadays last 4-8 hours, but you certainly get your money's worth with that Scottish studmuffin.

http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/PS39b4xcepn8jv/Datel-PS3-MAX-Drive-160-External-160GB-HDD-

i got one of them for my 20 gig ps3 works well

The problem with an external harddrive is you can't install games on it which means you can not use it for games.

i have the same one, and its made specialy for ps3....read underneath the picture

"The PS3 is more than just a games console. It’s a multimedia marvel which you can use to watch videos, listen to your MP3s and view your digital pictures such as holiday snaps, all from the comfort of, erm; wherever you choose to put your PlayStation 3. But having access to all these digital delights present a problem of their own. Where do you put it all? Your PlayStation 3’s hard drive may seem huge at first, but if you use it to store digital media such as photos, music and video, it soon fills up. Never fear – MAX Drive 160 for PS3 is here…

With MAX Drive 160 for PS3, you can expand your storage space by an incredible 160GB. Just plug it into your PS3, and you’re ready to go. It’s also the ideal file transfer solution too. Plug it into your PC, and you can drag and drop your movies, music and pictures onto your MAX Drive. You can then take it to your console and plug it in once more, and you have easy access to everything you copied. You don’t even need a network!

But it’s not just for media. With MAX Drive, you can store gamesaves and matierial downloaded from the PlayStation store, freeing up room on your PS3’s hard drive, and moving it back when needed. With MAX Drive 160 is the ultimate multimedia companion for the PS3. Buy one, and you’ll wonder how you ever did without it."

I was really shocked... the 1st chapter was 1.05gb to download - and it was over in about 10 minutes of actual gameplay.

Waht I played was good, I really liked it, however I just hope the other chapters are longer, I mean 10 minutes.

I take it you're buying them individually then?

Hell no, far to expensive, I've just only played the first chapter. I've got most of them downloaded & will probably get back on them later.

So you can buy the full game, but then install it in sections? If it is, that's convenient and pretty much takes away the need for the individual ones...

It is very convernient in that respect, the full game is split up into 12 chepters, each downloadable on their own, from about 500mb to 1.3gb, though most are about 600 - 700mb.

If you buy the full game then 12 downloads are suddenly available in your queue.

you can access & redownload them at the games menu screen & view a online manual as well.

So from that point the game runs fine, I'm just a bit worried about the length, but hopefully I'll be proved wrong later.

I might buy it then, I just assumed that you had to download the whole 9Gb all in a oner.
