The original idea was to have him in the third one but now they will probably write him out. The next villain my guess will be Riddler or Catwoman or even Bane. We will find out by the end of this year if they are even making a third one,

They probably won't use villians everyone knows.

Like it will be like the first movie. Villians which you would only know if you read the comic.

I believe they will write out Joker, Two-face is dead in the movie so no him coming back. They are on contract to make a third Batman, if the directors walks off, then  batmans actor will be leaving as well.

TBH mate i dont think u could top tht

also depp may be good as riddler but al hope is lost with the jokr as heath was made for tht part as i say all actors were made for 1 film

i.e  Jonny Depp - Pirates OTC

    jim carrey - mask

    heath ledger - Joker

so on and so forth

i really did like jim carrey as joker and hope to see a repeat performance ???

Jim is not tied to the mask in anyway. If anything I think that was one of his worst. Jim can play all sorts of roles but i don't see him playing joker after Heath.

Don't be so closed minded as to think of Carrey as the Riddler again. The Riddler is at heart just a criminal genius with OCD. The Joker is a fearless maniac with a lust for chaos and for breaking down society. Different comics throughout history have portrayed the characters in different ways. There's no one way to characterise the Riddler, and these films will demand their own version to fit in with the gritty realistic setting. There's no way you can predict which actor they'll go for. Did anyone think Heath Ledger was the right guy for the Joker before they found out? You probably didn't think about it, but I'm sure you can agree he wouldn't have crossed your mind.

BTW Carrey's best role was Truman.

Man on the Moon and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind are his best roles.

Eternal Sunshine was excellent but he didn't shine like he did in Truman. I'm afraid I haven't seen Man on the Moon.

Definetly agree with Man on the Moon... You should see it, it's a great movie.

Still my favorite Jim Carrey movies are AV When Nature Calls and Me, Myself and Irene.

I think u need to go back to the original posts and dont just go to the end comment then try to put in a comment as if u know what we are talking about cos i did not say or in this case did anyone say tht jim carrey could take the roll of joker

no one has said tht i dont know where u got tht from

Why can't Depp play the Penguin? Depp has shown again and again that he can ahndle complex roles and comvery emotion through a crap load of make-up. I can't honestly think of any character I would rather see him playing.

Ask Danny Devito or MiniMe.......

Will Smith will not be good for any villan in the Batman series. He has never played a villan (that I am aware of). At least Heath had experience with crazy and weird characters.

What's every one's obsession with how good Heath Ledger was?, IMO I wasn't impressed with the movie at all. Depp is ment to be the Riddler,
