I think the new xbox update this fall will push xbox live further than PSN, they did a good job catching up to this stage though.

WTF, so much for no harddrive required. Arcade Xbox360 owners just got screwed over.

So for the netflix thing, would that mean you can rent movies online on your 360 and stream it all?

yeah - but the main thing is live party, that is a serious innovation right there and it will make a huge impact on how you play games online

also game installations are never compulsary.

Installations are optinal. No mandatory game installations on the xbox.

Game installs are not required on the xbox because load times are already lightning fast. The ps3 uses mandatory installs to get similiar load times as xbox 360 games.
