Ok i was playing Call of duty 4 with my clan and just when am about to shoot someone the game freezes and my PS3 shuts down. I tried to put it on again and i see a yellow light briefly and then it tuns red and flashes.

I think you know personally dbz, how long my PS3 (60) stayed on.  At one time I left it on for four months straight.  I would literally play WarHawk / Motorstorm all day...Fold at night, wake up and do it all over again...

When my 60 died it was one of the worst feelings in the world.  Sony took care of it quickly and I haven't had time to download the ****load of games I have on the PSN.  However the first game I downloaded was WarHawk..

The worst part of all is that right now I am in an area where I can't hook up properly and am eagerly awaiting, getting on and putting this new system through "the paces"...


Only thing I fold are my clothes.

Its actually yellow then blinking red which is over heat, and thats what he got, just wait it out.

Mine got that when I hard reset it during Folding@Home, it was a launch 60GB, luckily, they shipped me a refurbed 60GB back. I think they'll ship you a refurbed 60GB.

No problems with my as of yet.

yh but ive waited for hours now and it still does the same thing, it comes on shows a yellow light then blinks red..think i might need a new one
