Oh yeah,Sony is doing that? Well, they better do the simpler things before, like mass producing PSN Cards to maximize their
chances.

I don't have burnout paradise yet. This is quite tempting. It depends on the download size though. If its reasonable i might get it.

I'd say it's 6GB maximum.

The max for any download for PS3 is 5GB actually.

Question would you be able to download it onto a external harddrive or anything if its connected to your ps3? Cause I was planning on getting an external 500GB HDD for my ps3 specifically but I didn't want to redo all of my saves since those can't be transferred.

Nope you can't, demos and game saves have to be in the internal harddrive. The external harddrive is used to store music/movies/photos and etc...

Yep, no PS2 classics on PSN for a while. I hope it does get implemented sooner rather than later though (if at all).

You couldn't be more wrong. Xbox originals, XBOX 1 games, full retail ones, are downloadable for a long time already.

Even though its not a 360 game full retail, its pretty much the same. Microsoft is way, way further in distrubition of digital stuff then Sony.

And in that way Sony has a bit of a problem with their own pushformat BluRay. As the discs of exclusive PS3 games that are not compressed and data is messy so it takes up 30GB or even the full 50GB are you the one to start the digital download?

On contrary, well compressed games fitted on a DL-DVD means 8.5GB of data for a full 360 game (I am speaking about 99,9% of all games, few JRPG with multiple discs not included), which can be done with a broadband internetconnection like the 20Mbit that is common nowadays here in The Netherlands.

I see a future for this on the 360 even more then on the PS3.

You said Xbox Originals twice,MART.

Sony is looking ahead because it has all the things Xbox Live has for its consumers like demos, wallpapers, themes, videos, and arcade games. However Sony does have full titles like Warhawk,Siren and the upcoming Socom on PSN.Xbox Live does not have Call of Duty 2 or Dead Rising or any full 360 games. The closest thing is Oblivion 4 expansions such as Shivering Isles.

Also, you still talking about 9 GB games? You know,as hardware gets more powerful I expect videogames to become larger.I want more content in a single disc.I also want games to offer enough playthrough in single player to justify my 60 dollars.Do people want less content in their games? No wonder those people buy Wii.

Sony isn't having a "problem" with Blu-Ray because the only ones that are taking advantage are Kojima and Carmack.Multi-plat and timed exclusives have been pushed on the 360 for too long.No great innovations or improvements were ever done without a few risks.

Sony is pushing forward digital downloads

Sony is pushing forward Blu-Rays

Microsoft is pushing HDD-less 360s

Microsoft is pushing away developers who want to bring user-generated content

Sony can push both formats by releasing full multiplatform games on the PSN and exclusive games on blu-ray. Not to mention that movie companies are releasing movies on blu-ray so blu-ray will not die no matter how you spin it.

No, 320 is the biggest that's commonly available. I'm sure you can get bigger though if you're willing to look for it and unload a shed load of cash.

I've heard there are some complications with HDDs larger than 320gb though. I don't know specifics or where I even heard this though >.<

I am pretty sure Heavenly Sword, Drakes, and Rachet were all like 10 hour games, and didn't have MP, and were on your Blue Ray

False. I just downloaded a 7.5gb HD movie from the video store. I don't see why there would be a difference in the Game Store.
