Status: offline 		You say "WTF" having not seen a BD movie, I presume. Anything of that quality should be convincing.

It needn't be of 300-style action and special effects. That's a myth. Anything looks infinitely better. Even anime.

Status: offline 		It is still too early to decide a "winner." Whatever happens happens, and only the consumers can decide that. Movie companies moving to a single format can help accelerate that decision, however, if the consumer wants something, they'll get it, and whoever is on the wrong end will switch in order to retain and make profits.

I will decide in a few years time once this whole HD war, DVD war, and console war is all over with. By that time I'll have a house, a degree, and a enough money to make a killer entertainment set-up.

Status: offline 		Is there really any question Blu-ray is kicking hd-dvd's ass it holds more and looks better and now that disney is on board you can pick a fork in hd-dvd cause they are done. THAT IS ALL!

Status: offline 		Well I owned an HD DVD add on and when I bought my PS3 I decided to sell my add on HDDVD player because I really didnt need 2 different types of HD players.
I did this before I had a Chance to View Blu-Ray movies .... After having watched about 15 BD movies I believe that my HD-DVD movies looked better.
I say the best bet is too just let Blu Ray and HD-DVD duke it out and then buy the winner or [lol] wait till the next format because I dont think a better newer form of HD will take as long as DVD to HD DVD's did.
I speculate within 5-8 years we will be debating SHD-DVD vs. SBlue-Ray!
Plus DVD is basically as Good.

HD-DVD and Blu-Ray look the same btw and Blu-Ray holds more but when are we gonna get a 50GB movie anytime soon?

Status: offline 		You argument seemed a bit one sided, And i belive the porn indestry chose VHS and thats why it won. To me i could go eather way, blueray has momentem, but HD-DVD could still come back, or if it splits, there could be both for many years to come,
