This may not be the best place to ask.....
but here it is...

Does anyone know where I can buy a cheap computer with stunning specs?

I would prefer some knowledge on what to look for or a manual to build my own computer with parts i buy ... hope someone can help.  I am not a newbie...  I just have never built my own.

Thanks

Depends on the amount of money you are going to spend and how cheap do you mean?

e.g. Do you mean something like £500 as a buget then you would get an ok computer but nothing amazing. You can built a good computer if you have around £900 or so. I think I'm going to be spending £1,500 at the max this summer when I build my new PC.

Well are there any sites out there than i can check to see the parts and specs of top notch computers these days?   Thing with computers is they get old and outdated very fast.... but than again technology as  a whole has a very short life span i guess....

Any recommendations on web sites would be appreciated now.
Gotta do some research before i get into buying and building.

Check out IBuyPower or CyberPower PC's. That's where I bought my last two. They're very good and your not paying for brand recognition.

OverclockersUK is a good site for people who live in the UK and I'm sure there is a USA version of the site. They deliver quick and provide a great service.
