I was irritated that they made the mistake between a 3MP camera and .3MP lol...the blog I was on made that mistake.

Plenty of surprises all around. I wish we were getting a true Pikmin sequel, though.

I wonder if the NA Conference will be as jaw-dropping as the JPN one.

That post doesn't even makes sense its like you are assuming PSP and DS have the same games or that this upgrade to the DS magically gave it the same hardware as the PSP? the little Timmy that was going to buy a PSP for God of War Chains of Olympus is going to mysteriously jump and buy a DS cuz it got music playback and camera? (both stuff the PSP already had a long time ago WTF?) people have been buying DSs like crazy cuz of the game it had I don't recall NOBODY buying a DS cuz it lacked music playback and a camera, and how is the PSP handling it self and actually managed to become a top hardware seller in Japan?...not for the music playback or camera if I recall...games...games that the DS didn't had and people wanted same with every single console and handheld out there...I am not even gonna bother with the last part of your post since that is when we enter the territory of fanboy "logic" (or lack of)

sigh...fanboys this days

btw I find it kind of ironic and even funny that some people in this thread are acting EXACTLY as the early PSP fanboys...yes those people DS owners used to constantly complain about...funny how things have changed

Funny how fanboys are happy to call others out as fanboys just because they're excited about the new console, eh? If you want me to act like a fangirl, I will. The DS is destroying the PSP in terms of sales. With the release of the DS-i, the PSP will get owned even more. Sure, the PSP has games on it that'll never appear on the DS. But guess what? Now there'll be even more DS games that'll never appear on the PSP! The only advantage the PSP has ever had was graphical output - not much of an advantage in the long run, it seems.

Now stop namecalling and just enjoy the new damn DS. Surely you can do that, right?

Come on cut the act, now because you are being called out and not congratulated for the completely uncalled and out of place PSP bashing in this thread you now come with the "enjoy" BS AFTER you are showing your true colors? its funny how people in key moments really show how biased they truly are...I guess this announcement was your trigger because hey in this thread it looks like there are REAL DS fan which came and simply posted how cools the new DS is and what not and not posted a gem of a comment you left...like I mentioned comments that no one wouldn't have even attributed to DS "fans" previous to the announcement are now coming out of the walls with people like you...I guess its the people that were holding in the fanboyism and putting on the "gamer" mask while the PSP was outselling the DS and grow in support..(in Japan  at least) but hey now that things are obviously gonna change (DS is still gona outsell the PSP...like it always has) the good old PSP bashing and DS bias comes out (cuz that is obviously gonna make people throw there PSP out the window or buy a second DS  nothing beats bashing to boost already massive sales! )

but hey at least now I know you are a Nintendo fangirl

at the end its a...good job girl! cuz we all know that the 81million strong DS really needs being defended by bashing and illogical comparisons against the evil 38million strong PSP

Everyone full well knows I'm no fangirl. EVERYONE. Until last night, I had lost all faith whatsoever in Nintendo. I suggest you look at Tempist's posts before accusing me of "uncalled for" bashing. I'm not even going to bother with the rest of your post - it's stupid. Tempist bashes the DS senselessly for no reason, but you never said anything against that. You're not so unbiased yourself, evidently...

Stop it honestly. PSP outsold the DS yes indeed they did, yet it never lasted and as we can see the DS is back on top well before the announcement of the DSi. It's a console not a stock option... unless of course you do own stock then you can bounce numbers off for other not to care about.

Just be happy that Nintendo had a good conference that covers a well range of games for gamers and a new handheld to rock the already rocked house

Again people in this thread and on  he main section showed ther renewed interest in the DS without the necessity to bring the PSP in anyway or form...and you are now calling me out cuz seriously wanted me to bother with someone that was obviously trolling and doing the job of the "contra"? hell I would have 6 times more post than I have if I wasted time with people like that...but you in the other hand went from 0 to 60 over a single announcement and for reasons of your own felt the necessity of bringing fanboy comparisons that no one was even asking and don't worry don't bother answering the rest of my previous post its obvious you like being congratulated and never questioned like it was shown in previous threads

so don't worry I am not gonna bother replaying to your post next time no matter how illogical, flat out wrong or out of place they can be I will let you enjoy the praises and cheers and the good job feeling you have with your obligatory post in every thread

Good luck girl hope you manage to get your DSi and that you enjoy it

Blah blah, let's talk about the conference. Why don't you PM each other about fanboyism. I'm liking the amount of traditional games coming out now. Just enough to not be overloaded.

Don't worry, I'm not going to bother replying to such a turd. Even though the rest of the internet is comparing the DSi to the PSP-3000, apparently one isn't allowed to bring that discussion to the forums.

But yeah, as you said, things could get very interesting with these rereleases. I'm quite looking forward to the two Pikmin games rewired for the Wii. I love the sequels to Sin & Punishment and Punchout! too... I doubt they could have chosen better IPs to renew. Add in the supposed plans for greater DS/Wii interfacing and the chance that the DSi may well have it's own Virtual Console, and we're onto a winner...

Now for the DSi to get a decent custom firmware.......
If the DSi turns out to be easily 'hacked' and allows the running of homebrew and emulators etc. I'll definitetly be buying it.
