Status: offline 		I believe the best graphics of 2008 will belong to one of these:
Alan Wake, Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5, Resident Evil 5 and Fallout 3.

My fave is Fallout 3 but the winner looks to be GT5.

and from the news i just read about the next GTA being a ps3 exclusive!!!

not too ure he truth in it mind...but thats pretty big news if it turns out to be true...

Status: offline 		Killzone 2 does look good but if it does not play well then whats the point in the game?

Also like to point out that Killzone 2 is from what I've watched mostly a corrider shooter with better graphics like most shooters. Crysis will beat it in graphics but I still enjoyed Killzone 1 although it had alot of flaws. Lets hope Killzone 2 will kick some ass. Orange box is coming out in 2 weeks time and I'm getting it for PC.

Status: online 		umm can't really say which game has the best grapics since we haven't seen a lot of the 2008  releases and its not 2008 yet so we really have o idea for whats in store, but I do like how ffvs13 looks though it probably a 2009 release.

No you're not. I haven't played a single MGS game myself and all those trailers confuse the hell outta me.

As for the best graphics of 2008. Its obviously Crysis, clearly nothing else at this point can even come even close. KZ2 is looking good but its not even in the same leauge as Crysis.

That is so old school.......they did it with gran turismo 4 on ps2 and the difference was just as hard to spot...Also they did it with The Getaway 3 on ps3. that looks even more true to life than crysis in the pics. Don't think to much, November is close.......you will be dissapointed alot. And I have seen enough of crysis. I have about 30 videos of ingame action on dx10. It only took 1 and I mean one video of Killzone 2 to finish the job.........if you know what i mean.......Killzone looks superior to crysis...........you'll see..............

Status: offline 		That Heavy Rain screenshot is a little more than a year old, can't wait to see how it looks and plays when it finally comes out. As for Alan Wake, it will be a strong contender too, I still haven't seen that kind of physics and lighting with huge environments anywhere else.

@deathcell, what are you smoking? there aren't 30 DX10 videos and none of the recent videos are DX10 or even Ultra High setting. I think you and doomsonyman will find the main site much more exciting than the forums. It isn't worth bothering with your posts here as it will almost surely end up in a useless fanboy war.

I recall reading something to that effect as well.

But I believe that the bigger issue will be the DVD9 storage limitation. There are rumors that many games next year for the 360 will potentially require 2 DVD's. Microsoft could simply add the HD-DVD (or <gasp> BluRay) drive internally to new 360's, but how would they address the 10+ millions of owners that currently don't have them?

Status: offline 		Forget about the DX10 vids and all that crap. If you have a worthy comp the get yourself the Crysis beta. There's isn't any dramatic drop ship scene like KZ2 but the in game graphics speak for themselves. Watch in amazement at the super realistic lighting and how every tree and branch bend and act realisticly to you and your bullets. After that look around at the freaking huge draw distance and you'll see that it is no constest. Crysis pwn everything by a mile. My only beef with Crysis is with the guns balance. There's no point in picking up new attachments because even the standard rifle kick so much ass. Maybe that will change when i'm facing a few gunships or the alien mother ship....
