Bacon bits which caused me to make a full salad. Oh yeah I made like 4 cheesecakes because I got conned into making one so I decided to just make 4 so I won't have to do it again for like 2 months. 1 lemon, 2 strawberry swirl, and a caramel apple one. I should start selling these bastages.

Currently in the process of making some chili before my girlfriend gets home. Just threw whatever we had together. Not sure what to compliment the chili with though... I'll think of something.

Note to self, don't get wasted and try to cook steak.  I turned that to-be-delicious steak into a solid black brick.  Damn memory loss, I swear that 8 minutes seemed like only 3!

Oh well, good think I bought two.  Next time I won't drink so much.

So, the dinner turned out really, really well.

Kelly was really surprised that I made a full dinner (chili, green beans, sourdough bread).

I had the whole setup too, candlelight, soft music, wine glasses, the works.

It was a very romantic event. Oh, and I dressed up in my nice suit... just because. Good times!!

I love KFC. Too bad they don't exist in Sweden. Whenever I go on vacation I eat there.

Shmammy, I am in love with this recipe!    My niece and nephew (4 and 2) love it, too, especially when I tell them that there's ketchup in the sauce.  If the family likes pasta, this one is a great warm weather recipe, it just tastes fresh (and takes like 30 minutes to make).

edit: and I guess my questiob would be by "healthy" do you mean fewer calories or just a well-rounded meal?

A little bit of both, I want to be full, but at the same time have it be healthy for you. Im trying to find things that are better for you (that my son will eat too, he's at that picky stage) and that would be easy for both me and my hubby to cook when I have to work.

Oh, you have to make the pecan crusted chicken, and it's spicy so you Arizona folks will be happy!!  Adam begs for that one, and it sneaks a salad in.  I usually do things like make the dressing the day before (I make extra and use it on other salads), it just simplifies for the whole after work diner routine.
