White 1997 Volvo 850 (this pic isn't my actual car, just a pic of one the exact same as mine):

It's a hand-me-down from my parents that I got as my college graduation present.  It's got a beige leather interior and premium Bose system but by far the best aspect is that it's completely paid off

I'd like to get one of these sometime soon:

Is that an actual Vespa or another brand of scooter? I'm just starting to research scooters so any help you can provide would rock the kazbah!

It's a Stella.  Stellllaaaaaa!! (couldn't help it)

To the Volvo owners: I had one of those in high school and the thing saved my life.  They're tanks!

No surprise that MrSwede owns a Volvo   My parents used to be what you might call "Volvo fanboys" because of the safety factor.  My first car in high school was my parents' 1986 Volvo 740 turbo, which they let me drive since they got a new 850 at the time.  That turbo housed a beast!  Much faster than the newer 850 (I remember fishtailing on wet pavement sometimes whenever the boost kicked in back when I was new to driving).  My godfather now owns the 740 and it apparently still runs pretty good.  Volvos are tanks for sure.  Stories like Cat's always make me forget about the lack of oomph in my 850 and appreciate the brand for what it is.  Glad you're still w/ us Cat

It's true, love your Volvo!!  They're so underappreciated.  I collided with a highway median divider, an embankment, a tree and then was hit by a semi (yes, all the same accident) and walked away with not a scratch.  I <3 Volvos!!

OMG wow!  I bet that was quite an experience.  Amazing how the Volvo protected you throughout the whole ping-ponging between obstructions.  Almost makes me feel like I don't appreciate my Volvo enough for what it could do for me if I were to go through a similar event.  Now I kinda feel obligated to take it into the shop to address some noises it's been making for the past 2 weeks at low speeds while turning.  I think it's just low on power steering fluid but I'd hate for it to turn into something serious.

"Take better care of my Volvo" added to my New Year's Resolution list.

That's my slutty friends resolution too but she spells "Volvo" differently...

Sorry, couldn't pass it up.

LOL funny you mention that, my parents told me that as a kid, I mispronounced it as "vulva".

Little 6 year-old Dub- Not much. I got to ride in my mom's vulva!

Lol, nice Syko.  I'm actually a good driver, just had some bad luck with a bridge and black ice.  But the latter has got to be a foreign commodity in Phoenix!

Ya no black Ice, Just plastic and silicone stuffed airheads from Scottsdale talking on the cell phone all while using half of my lane. I have fired more thirstbusters onto Mercedes than I care to count.

Anyways. To get back on topic. I rock an 03' Chevy S-10 with the 4.3L V-6 Package. It hauls ass. I love it.

I just purchased a 2008 Ford Focus SE the other night. I would include some pictures, but it hasn't stopped raining here since I bought it!!!  I just want one sunny day and after I re-wax it.
