Man, I thought the terrible driving here in Houston represented a state-wide phenomena though now that you mention it, drivers were more chill in the DFW area last time I was there. I could basically say Houston drivers are a pet peeve for me. Drivers get in the fast lane and go the speed limit or less. Drivers never use their blinkers (most likely because whenever you use your blinker to get in the next lane, the @$$hole that is currently in that lane but behind you will speed up to block you out). Drivers will get in adjacent lanes and cruise at the exact same speed, totally ignoring anyone behind who is trying to get by (this forces other drivers to weave dangerously through traffic). Drivers buy big trucks (such as dualies) for personal use just so they don't have to drive as carefully. Grrr!
