December the 10th. Nothing signinficant about my birthday date, I think.

EDIT: I just found out from Wikipedia that my birthday has something to do with Rwandan Genocide. How cheerful.

Woah.... I just googled my B-day and a lot of bad stuff happened that day

I don't know what event killed most people but this was pretty bad:
1941 - World War II: The German battleship Bismarck is sunk in the North Atlantic killing almost 2,100 men.

Woah, that is pretty bad, that's a lot of men. Who sunk it, the British?

Wkipedia's good for finding out what happened on your B-day, just put in the date, and it comes in list form, in chronological order. The Rwandan genocide thing is fairly recent, about 1994.

I've never really been that focused on the news, or any television for that matter, apart form a few programs, so I never really hear about these things until quite a while after everyone else, and the same case goes for the Rwandan thing

I know it's a bit ignorant of me to not keep up with the world's issues, but I can't really find that much time for TV. I barely have enough time for gaming as it is

It doesn't matter what side they were on, the fact is that a lot of good soldiers died that day, and even if this does count as a victory for the allied forces, it still isn't a "good" thing.
