Why does the add at the top of the page pop up at random times when I'm further down the page?  It should be a scroll over one (it says to scroll over to view trailer), but even if I don't scroll over it, it will just pop up out of no where when I'm no where near it.  I have pop-up blocker on to...

For some reason just about any story I click on in "my game channel" I get:

Error Page
We are sorry but the server was not able to load the page you requested.

Although if I go to the main page and search for that story and click it, it works fine.

After comparing the links this seems to be the problem.

Link from "My Games Channel" (Link doesn't work for me)
http://www.n4g.com/mygames/News-112093.aspx

Actual link that works
http://www.n4g.com/News-112093.aspx

So anything with /mygames/ is giving me that error.

If you post a picture that's too big in a forum thread you're unable to edit your post.

What's your screen resolution set at? You shouldnt have this problem... it just stretches the site, and you must scroll to the right more.

We do ask that people try not to post pictures to anything that is larger than 800x600 pixels, or if you do, link to the image rather than posting it.

It's on 1440x900. It's been the same since before the site update and I remember posting an image on this thread http://forums.n4g.com/m_65430/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#65591 and all it did was stretch the site. Now if I check that old thread I can't edit that one either...

Edit: Also, in the pending section: If you report on a story and write a long link in the report, your name and everyone elses name who report on that story will not show. The pending section is too "thin".

I just quoted myself. Was that a similar issue?  TnS had posted a pic in this thread on how it looked but it's not there anymore. It looked just like this glitch. Well, thanks for replying and I'll post smaller pics in the future!

It is there, but the site (xs.to) is slow.

New bug: the site icon of N4G has disappeared. (But present in the forums.)

Yeah I saw that later.

I can still see some names of contributors in the pending section...

This is weird, but it has happened a couple times to me now since the new site.  I search for a story, can't find it, and I submit it.  Then discover someone has already submitted it with an altered title -- but I was able to submit it with the same URL.

ok, so the past few days I've noticed that most stories that I click on are "invisible" minus the hyperlinks; meaning I have to highlight the submitted content in order to see it. i thought it was my pc. but all other sites work fine, and i've tried other pc's and i get the same issue....is anyone else going through this?

What browser do you use? I think a screenshot about the error would be helpful.

I experienced this a couple times with the comments section when I am using IE on a work laptop with a sluggish internet connection.

Ok,there seems to be a problem with the pending section.
a story was cancelled for no reasons at all.while i was writing a report,
using 'other',it was registered twice as duplicate by the same contributor, although he did
not do that.some people are also having trouble posting news.

Long titles are clipped in the related games selector. Suggestion: show tooltips or put the two listboxes under each other.
