Ok, now i'm really believing that my theory is true, especially now that they are talking about moving the island. If they move it near the sahara desert, then it all fits perfectly.

As for claire.... I don't even know. Maybe they killed her, or turned her when they originally kidnapped her towards the beginning of the series and she's either just working for them, alive... or is dead like a couple of other people on that damn island helping out. I really have no idea about that one..

Oh, and i'd like to give a big FU to cbs... thanks for making my screen 1/3 it's size so you could talk about how a tornado MIGHT appear 50 miles away from me... I totally appreciated that and how you kept inerupting the show to give MORE updates. I hope someone gets fired over this.
