Will you be updating your review for Dark Sector?

I read how you said the 360 version has rumble to allow you to know when to throw the glaive full force and the PS3 had sixaxis to help you to control it.

PS3 also has the rumble indicator to let you know when to throw the glaive full force. Just an FYI

What do you think of the pricing of games in Europe,
I'm sick of getting stung all the time with the price of games to the point where I usually wait till the price goes down or  trade a game in.
Have you seen the UK price of rock band according to this story on N4G it's £129.99($258) without the game (which is bloody pointless) or £169.99($337) with the game.

A quick one first, directed at the Womba trip.

You've mentioned your disdain for GT5 running up a bill of $100. But I'm curious to know what you think a fair price point would be for the full game for those that did buy prologue. IE: If you own Prologue, how much money should be cut from the price of GT5?

Emphasis on quick answer for that one by the way guys.

Anyway, here's a question which may attract more discussion. Is Halo 3 not being as played as much as you thought it would? I'm not a 360 owner so I can't speak from experiance, but from what I've seen and read online, nobody really talks about Halo any more, aside from new map packs which appear to surface. Is that because nobody cares or because they are all still playing the game 24/7?

Hi Crew,

I have a few short question for yous all...

...how did N4G.com came to be?
...whos idea was it to make a podcast?
...has there been any podcast member leaving?
..will there ever be a new podcast member introduced?
..what did you all eat for breakfast?
...would you explain how you all got your nick names?
...will there be another contest like the one you just held for Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed?
...If yes, what are some possible games?
...do you REALLY answer every single question asked during the podcast?
...how did you decide to finish every show by making the chicken clucking sound?

....thanks !! LOVE the show really do.

Hey crew, here a few questions for you,

What online multiplayer game do you wish had a stronger online community? I would love to see more people online with Team Fortress 2 on 360, there are alot of people playing still, but more is better, although the plus side of having less people is that there is a more mature online community, except for me...which leads me to my next question

What games did you guys become hard core with in terms of online multiplayer? And what about that game kept you coming back?

Hey Guys – Special hey to Wombatrp

Firstly, Great show – Always a pleasure never a pain

My question is – With the current Gen consoles having access to on-line capabilities and games usually releasing with on-line multiplayer modes, why is it that I find that some of the on-line modes feel so ‘tacked’ on, and really not worth being there, an example would be ‘The Darkness’ Great single player experience, however on-line multiplayer modes – ‘capture the flag’ etc… total (and excuse my French) CRAP, just a waste of time. Another recent example would be ‘Dark Sector’ again a good single player experience – Jumped in on a multi-player mode and thought – just feels ‘tacked’ on
Could the resource/time or money be spent elsewhere? Maybe have a ‘Co-Op’ mode, or something to give it an edge.
Also, don’t get me wrong the majority of games do get it right but I somehow feel let down when others get it wrong.
It would be cool to hear what your ideas and thoughts are on this subject.

Keep up the fine and dandy work chaps and you’ll break the 5 listener base very soon.

sup guys,

1. why is it that game publishers never release games during the summer knowing that kids have time, they have jobs to spend money to but they never do?, and also with GTA4, wii kart, GT5: prolouge, NG2 and MGS4 coming out basically during summer time, how does this summer comapre to the more recents summmer years?

2. so far what have been your favorite 3 games so far this this generation?

3. since i dont believe you guys mentioned this in the last podcast(if you guys did then forget this question then). What where your impressions of the Resistance 2 teaser trailer?

What is up guys!

First off, your welcome for the links to the mods. So on to my question.

Recently I have noticed that I have become really sick of this word that I am about to say. That word is "exclusive". I can't read one gaming site, magazine or commercial without reading or hearing that word. Like recently with the crappy, and static, COD4 maps being exclusive for the 360 for 21 days. I just feel that word is just ammunition to any fanboy flame war. Are you guys sick of hearing this word as well? And do you think that this generation is the era of the exclusive?

P.S. I am with the Brian in that if Judy Nails was real, I'd hit it. I might need a penicillin shot, but I'd still hit it.

P.S.S. I am also one of the last sane gamers that also thinks that Prologue is a glorified and overpriced demo. One more way to nickel and dime your customer only with $10 and $20 bills. Just one more thing that Sony has copied from Microsoft and EA to be one of the cool kids.

Edit: I have no will power so I bought it and it looks so pretty.

P.S.S.S. We need to hit up some UT3.

Hey Crew,

The question is when you review a game, do you get to keep the copy of the game or do you have to return it?
Also, do you ever listen to your own podcasts?

Crew I got a question.  With the competition Sony is facing this gen with the 360 and the wii, do you think Sony's initative to focus on 1st party titles will alienate 3rd party support?

Reason I ask is because a lot of my buddies who own the ps3 are dropping COD4 in favor of GTA 4.  After GTA 4 they plan on focusing solely on GT5:P and MGS4, until Resistance 2 drops.  This is about 6 guys and I wonder are their actions indicative of other playstation 3 gamers.  On top of the fact that I recently read N'Gai Croals article on the "PS3 being a after though amongst developers".

Keep the show rolling, so I can keep winning your contest.

Hi guys! Love the show, keep it up :)

Just wondering what you guys feel about the health system in FPS. We have the health bar type system in Half Life and Bioshock, as well as the regenerating shield types like COD4 and Halo. What do you guys prefer?

Personally, I hate the bioshock half life system. Maybe its just me, but I'm always paranoid about leaving myself with too litle life, and find myself saving the game everytime I clear some enemies, trying to save up the health packs. If i do poorly in a firefight, I reload the game and try again, so that I can save my healthpack. I always end my game having TOO MANY health packs. I will then remind myself to just use my healthpacks the next time i play a similar game, but it fails everytime. I really hate the system so much because it breaks the flow of the game for me, so much so that i can never find it in me to complete half life.

For COD4 and Halo, I just play through, relying on the checkpoints to do the saving for me. I never care about my health since it regenerates, and I love it.

Do you guys think regenerating health is cheap? I mean, COD4 on veteran is a killer!

Thanks!

Hey guys- great episode last week. Keep 'um coming!

I have kind of a long question, so bear with me. I was playing through Brawl after beating the subspace emissary and just trying to score that 100%. It struck me though that if I were on my 360 I would be scoring some achievement points as apposed to trophies. Most game though don’t even have anything close to the scope of how many trophies and stickers that Brawl does. So my question is this; Are gamers still going for full completion and secrets on games and systems (even wii and ps3) that don’t have some sort of bragging rights reward aside from the usual new game play mode and things like that-  or are achievement farmers *coughcoughZerocough* beginning to cause those games without to fade into the background?

If I've got my timezones right then I should be able to squeeze this one in before the next podcast, if you get this far.

For those of you with portable gaming systems, when and where do you like to play them the most?

And does anyone regularly hook a PSP up to a TV? Really?

Hello Zero and friends.  I just wanted to ask you a couple of questions before you did the next podcast.  I was wondering what score between 1 through 10 would you rate Viking, battle for asgard.   I took your guy's advice and actually bought the game and have not regretted it yet.  The game really does have its flaws, but its just so fun that you can easily look past it.  LOL at how one of you mentioned how pretty the water is, you are right, it is very soothing to watch the waves,, too bad cant find a shore like that where i live.

And Killer wolverine,  I was wondering if you tried Ratchet yet?  If you didnt I will be dissapointed,  you owe it to yourself to play it.  I would let you use my copy if you dont wanna spend any money.

And to zero,  I wish I would have taken your advice and not buy GT prolouge.  It is a waste of life to play, and the only thing it offers is a graphically enhanced version of GT.   I would rather play GT3 , and I cant believe they left out the most basic elements of GT out of it, like customization, and the the quality music in the game.  I cant even hear it, let alone put up with the crappy sound track.   My question is though,, do you think that Grid will beable to satisfy my racing sim appetite?  Or will I have to buy an Xbox 360 to get the driving experiance that I deserve?   The thing I want most from Grid is Private racing matches and voice chat with no lag in between.  Am I asking for too much?

Anyways,, the metal gear online beta starts tommorow, I dont know what time, maybe if you know you can tell me in the podcast, I listen every early monday morning.  OH yeah, I heard they are putting in a new map in the beta and might even prolong the beta's 2 week trial period.  Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day,

Edit:  I seen your review ZT,  I forgot you had a site you posted reviews,, sorry man.

My first question here guys ...

In a recent article I wrote here: http://www.pslegion.com./content/tired-fighting-nazis-we-have-a-look-some-alternatives

I discussed various alternatives to WW2 as a FPS setting, this is taking into the assumption that COD5 will return to its WW2 roots. I want to know your thoughts on this matter, most of the feedback I've got favours WW1, a mixture of the new and familiar. Do you agree on WW1 or are there any particular conflicts you would like to play through?

Hey Guys,

I was recently at the New York Comic Con and I came across this gaming association I never heard of before.  They are called The Entertainment Consumers Association, they have to do with organizing gamers against the stigma that all games cause kids to murder people and educate people on gaming in general.  I thought this was great so I joined ( also to get the awesome t-shirt that shows the wii, ps3 and 360 controllers and says “contrary to popular opinion these do not make me a killer” ) Anyways what do you guys think about organizing to inform the un-educated about games and help extinguish these “games kill people” flames?  If this is done right maybe we can get people like Jack Thompson to shut up.

Here’s a link: theeca.com

Ps: The shirt is really bad ass you guys should all get one.

Whats up Crew, It's been a few weeks since I last asked a question so I have a few if you don't mind.

1. If you could whipe away one franchise from ever being made what would it be?

2. If you could go back in time and buy one game that you didnt back in your past what would it be?

3. Tell one good "trait" and one bad "trait" about the person to your left.
