If the gore was being added to the ps3 version instead of being cut out then the fanboys would be trying to say "oh this makes the game SO much better", but since it is being cut out now we get the "oh well I don't really care about the gore anyways I'm more interested in gameplay". Well to me the gameplay looks exactly the same with a few additional characters but the overall graphical feel of the game is just not the same it looks pretty lame to me. The body parts being chopped off and blood going everywhere was one of my favorite parts of NG2. I'm not saying the game will be bad or anything I'm sure the game will still be fun it just does not have the same edge that NG2 had.

It would be nice fir it to have blood but even if it doesn't it shouldn't effrct the game that much.
I'm more concerned about the camera.

I'm in the same boat as you. Seriously, I just don't understand that bizarre logic. Personally I couldn't careless for excess particle effects for the sake of amusement.

The ninja gaiden series really tests your reflexes and your ability for staying e-alive.
Demon's souls tests your strategy in how you defeat not only bosses but normal mobs as well.
Both are good but (in my opinion) Demon's souls is much more fun. However, neither will be fun for you if you can't accept dying constantly.

You know, people did the same crap with Ninja Gaiden Sigma. They claimed that Sigma wasn't a real Ninja Gaiden game because oh, it was easier than Black and all kinds of crap. Now that Ninja Gaiden 2 is coming to the PS3, now there's an excuse to attack it because of the blood.

I'm sorry but I like the mist/blood effect of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Like I said many moons ago, it reminds me of a action movie I've seen where the same particle effect was used.

Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden only had head decapitations and blood-nobody complained about that. Now people are complaining about Ninja Gaiden 2?

Buy the game if you want to play it. Don't buy it if it's not your taste. As for me, I want it so I'm playing the demo and getting the game. The game I wanted most on the 360 is coming to the PS3 and I'm happy about it.

A game doesn't have to have a crapload of gore to be a great game.
