Not particulary bothered about this but I had this story fail about a free to enter £300 pirze pool GRID tournament with finals to be screened on Xleague tv because it was spam and policy is n4g dont allow competitions.

However found these similar stories below for a start, so is no gaming tournaments policy?

Tournament news and announcements should be allowed. They share a part in the enjoyment of the overall gaming experience for millions of gamers worldwide.

Well this is a user review site, it does not run by president alone.

If I had seen this I would have reported this. I think such copetitions should not be allowed.

I guess it was wrong channels then and only should have been gaming. Still even then it would have failed as that wasnt why it was reported. It was a free to play televised tournie on a well known UK games TV channel so not really sure what was wrong with it, maybe the headline and wording made people think it was a competition rather than an actual tournament.

As SUP3R indicated, looks like a channel issue more than anything else.  Sometimes with these things you just have to stick it out, contact a mod/admin and remind everyone about the Guidelines!
