Yeah, I realized that was in the title of the thread after I posted that. In the "Recent threads" it cut that quote out. Still, just a brilliant comeback right there. From now on, if someone asks me anything I'll just look them in the eyes and say"Do you eat sh!t?" With a straight face.

This Dev reminds me of Jim Sterling, he deliberately whipped up a sh*t storm.

I welcome all criticize towards Kotaku, God knows they deserve it, but "Do You Eat Sh*t", WTF was that.

I'm going to assume anger. Think about if all you said to others was broken down and misrepresented by the media day in and day out. Eventually, you'd get pissed and say something like this as well.

His points are right, though I agree he didn't need to be rude the way he was. Not to say I would be better having my words twisted in the way they did.

I don't get it? Dev calls journalist a douche cause of a stupid piece then people get mad at dev?

It might not have been the most politically correct thing to say in terms of PR but who the **** really cares if he is polite? His job is to make games and most people have no clue who he is so there won't be a public out lash towards his games. So his comment which meant nothing got blown up to be a story which got blown up because the reaction of the Dev of the blown up story of his comment that meant nothing...

Gotta love how boring life is...

The big difference here is that Jaffe had a good argument. Kamiya just had grade-school level retorts. Sure Kotaku might not always be the best outlet, but that doesn't mean that he shouldn't at least have an intelligent argument. Or even maybe *gasp* be the bigger man and decline comment.
