Personally, i hope the most powerful nextgen console should win.

Console to win should have the most powerful CPU,GPU, and most RAM. Since this nxtgen of consoles would probably last more than 10 years. If they neglect the GPU and RAM on nxtgen consoles again, nobody should win!

No doubt Microsoft will win. People dig the casual fluff nowadays. Gaming is dying. Kinect 2 will be the end.

i think hardcore innovation is dying. Anything new thats coming out is gonna gradually always be made easier and more casual to appease more and more ppl.

this has been happening since the Atari:

Atari games: wtf do i have to do?

Nintendo games: Im really supposed to beat this entire game with 3 lives??!?!

Super NES: Ok, i can continue but i must enter this long ass password?

Playstation: This game is challenging! I dont kno where to go. (opens strategy guide)

Playstation 2: Tough game but i can save if i just reach the end of the level. Nah (enter cheat codes)

Playstation 3: Hold L1 to see ur path. Ull know where to go because he'll leap further than he would anywhere else. U died 9 times, would you like to switch to easy mode?

don;t mock it... it sure fills a need....

My parents right now are using my daughters PS3 since my mom got bone morrow cancer we have been using it as a video chat but they have been using it for movies and NETFLiXs my parents love netflixs ....

so right now I am looking at this to turn there tv into a smart tv... will be able to MKV and well way more codecs than the ps3 and it will not get blacked with the ps3 video security ....

I think this is a smart choice if you want turn your tv in to a smart tv.... so why not...

How do you guys get down to one bubble? The only time I ever lost one was trolling a guy self bubbling with multiple accounts and a stupidly exaggerated presence on the front pages, and even then I already had 4. Also, Mezzo's bubble count fluctuates with the day of the week like the mods are fighting over him. OT: I'm thinking PS4 - 40% and New Xbox/ Wii U split the rest fluctuating between 27.5-32.5% each throughout the gen, if the PS4 releases within 3-6 months of the Xbox. If PS4 releases a year later, 3 way split.

This generation has showed that Microsoft is the strong up and coming contender, Sony is the sick man of the console wars, and Nintendo has shown that they're staying the course with the Wii U. I see no reason why Sony won't continue to fall and Microsoft continue to grow. I also don't see the Wii U doing better than the Wii.

I think what will likely happen is we'll see Microsoft close the gap between its console and Nintendo, much like what they did this gen with Sony, and in two generations from now Microsoft will take over the lead. Unless Kaz Hirai can pull a rabbit out of his ass, I don't see Sony pulling themselves out of the huge hole they're in and releasing a fifth Playstation. This coincides with the Japanese gaming industry's continued polarization of audiences outside of Japan.

Of course, this isn't taking into account whether Project Shield and Steambox can penetrate the mainstream market.

Someone likes writing the same thing over and over.
