hey can anyone tell me how to mute safari on a mac? all the adds are driving me crazy thanks

I think you have to mute your whole PC. I'm not too sure, though. I don't own a Mac, but a friend of mine does, and that's what he does. Then again, he's not too technical, so maybe there is a way.

google saft. its a safari plugin/hack that does a lot of the ad blocking, etc stuff that firefox does. though i don't have any noisy ads on safari though...

Is there not a option for the Safari within your mac's sound setting.

This is a late response but you could use a program called Detour to single out the sounds you use from Safari and iTunes for example. It also allows you to separate where you want certain sounds to come out from to my knowledge, but the main point is that you would be able to mute your browser and at the same time keep iTunes running normally.

for anyone wondering I found this thing called safai block it takes out all ads automatically
