Well i always had it. It was one of my favorite games last summer. I bought it on a limb, didn't check reviews and there was no demo available. Its a very good game. My top score las summer was 20 when i really got into it played it today got one trophy just to see how it was then moved on. The trophy feature is done pretty well actually. A lot better than the rest of the 2.4 stuff IMO.

Anyways, as i said earlier i really don't see myself struggling to get all the trophies just for bragging rights. Amongst my REAL friends i own pretty much everyone in almost every game and that is all the bragging rights i really need.

Congrats on your purchase though, Stardust is a great pick up and play game.

I am hoping that the trophies for MGS4 (assuming there are trophies) will be retroactive. MGS4 is hard work and i really don't see myself doing this **** again. Too much work. I might play Uncharted again when the custom soundtrack update comes thru.

that's awesome predator.

would like to see what you think about the game and the trophies.
i find the game really fun. i'm like sonarus and bought it on a whim before a demo was released. it's a lot of fun and i mostly play it with my daughter on co-op. the one bad thing was the best scores we got were always on her account and not mine

i suck at the game though, haven't got past the first world yet both on solo and co-op. but it's still great fun. a real pick-up-and-play game.
i'll try to unlock a trophy this week though but i'm like sonarus, i won't go out of my way to get them unless it's for my favorite games (uncharted, mgs4, r&c, heavenly sword, etc.)

anyway, remember to post your impressions here.

so far the game is good, highly addictive but i have found a major flaw in the trophy system that i hope gets fixed ASAP, in 360 games if you achieve whatwas needed to unlock the achievement it will unlock staright away no matter if you die or whatever...in SSHD it wont give you the trophies unless you complete the 5 phrases but it doesn't say that in the trophy detail.  for example in SSHD a trophy is awarded for staying alive and not shooting for 45 secs....did that for 2 mins just to prove a point and no trophy appeared........lets hope this changes

@Predator: No you need the expansion pack for that one, the trophy stats as follows: In survival mode you must survive for 45 second without using guns or bombs. You can only get the trophy by buying the SSHD solo expansion, which includes survival mode.

Yeah, there's no trophy glitch, for the reasons Darkness stated. D'oh, indeed.

In all seriousness, Stardust is a fantastic game, and once you start getting really into it, you'll realise just how great of a game it really is. Also, the soundtrack's amazing on some of the later stages.

And Le-Mo, you should definitely get it, for £4, it's a wonderful deal.

Well this seems like the perfect oppertunity to plug my SSHD user review I wrote about 140 days ago: http://www.n4g.com/Reviews/PS3/UReviewPending-110725.aspx

But the trophy system on this game seems good, I've currently got 10, including 1 gold, & am at level 2.

The one bad aspect is that they do not recognise difficulty levels, so in arcade mode, all the trophies there can be unlocked on easy mode.

It'll probably get more sales in a few days from now than it did in it's whole first month, because of 2.40.

It is a bit weird people were anticipating this update more than they were most games.

I don't think it'll be annoying. If anything, it'll give you a good reason to give your old games some more playtime, which can only be a good thing. Think about it that way, and you can understand why it's far better than retroactive trophies.

Oh, and welcome to the forums, by the way.

Exactly.

I've always wanted SSHD but I've had too many games on high priority (I just finished the main quest in Oblivion... Damn distracting side quests!), and they've been set aside due to other high priority things in my life.

But the Trophy system finally gives me a reason to give in and get it, even if I haven't yet finished DMC4, GTAIV, DBZ Burst Limit, Rock Band, and a few others.

good to see you're liking SSHD predator, how many trophies have you unlocked so far?

I think on a lucky break I got to 33odd million - I'll have to check on that though.
