I have to agree with everything X12 has said. First, Naughty Dog always sticks with one franchise per generation. We will see Uncharted 3. No Jak, no new IP.....Uncharted 3. And I can't wait (well I can, I'm still working on UC2, just saying). The franchise has been absolutely amazing so far and I don't want them to stop. To the one that said they might not be able to top it: I wasn't sure they could top Uncharted like they did with UC2, but they did and they surprised me with the improvement. Hell they don't even need to "improve" necessarily for me to enjoy and love a third installment. They're amazing at story telling and mixing that with the game seamlessly moving through it, as long as they give me a new chapter in Drake's life, then I'm good and will eat it up.

I'm also with X12 on the whole FPS thing people keep suggesting. To hell with that, I would absolutely not buy that. I would HATE it if ND decided to bypass Uncharted 3 and opt to make some FPS instead. We have enough of those. I'm tired of those. I want them to do what they've been doing. It's only been two games so far and the franchise has been amazing. Absolutely no sense in cutting the franchise short like that.


btw lol@x12 for the Drake Racing thing. That is funny cause I actually mentioned that when others were talking about wanting a new Jak game before. Saying that we'll just see Drake this gen..with UC3 next, then maybe UC4..then possible a Drake Kart Racer to finish it off (afterall, they've done it everytime). Though now that I think about it, maybe the way to finish this franchise would be to bypass that kart racer thing they have and instead go for some multiplayer scavenger hunt type game. That could be cool. Besides, I'm not sure they'll ever top CTR.

After playing Uncharted 2, I most defiently want a Uncharted 3. Ive never been more amazed with a game, since Metal Gear Solid 4 or even the first Uncharted. The characters seem so real and the story is just so awesome! People say the uncharted series isn't creative and borrow things from other games and such, but they do it so well and they all work so well together, you dont even notice it and just enjoy the one of the most amazing experiences ever created. I am seriously still stunned at how awesome Uncharted 2 is.
 
While ive never played their Jak and Daxter series,  i defiently would still pick Uncharted 3 over it anyday.

i want uncharted 3 to be a launch title for the ps4 so we will be extra hyped for it and it will be fresh feeling.  However, I believe that they will be making Uncharted 3 as soon as possible because drake is now a playstation icon that can move consoles and make the big bucks.
