They should reboot the reboot. I want curvy lara back, who's that skinny teen? Someone from twilight?
I assume they're taking her in a more natural direction. Busty, curvy people don't make as good athletes nor do they make up the majority. If they want to make her a more attachable character and show her emotions, it makes sense to make her more "human", so to speak.

We're doing things that are completely new to Tomb Raider in this game and the additional development time will allow us to put the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve. We believe this is the right choice and I guarantee it will be worth the wait. The game is looking amazing and we can't wait to show it to everyone at E3 in a few weeks.

This. Though I'm not pissed, I understand why they might need it. It still sucks though - haven't bought a Tomb Raider game in 10 years, but this one I'm keen to get my hands on.

Hardly a surprise really. Has been barely any news on it since last year's E3 and this is Square Enix we're talking about, a company that has become notorious for announcing and having way too many titles on the table at the same time so this is inevitable really. Same **** different game.

Game looks interesting but It's hardly an anticipated title for me. If I made a list IGN style it wouldn't be on it..... I was waaay more down about Bioshock getting pushed back....
