Is anybody else enjoying this series? It's such a simple game engine yet I'm finding it so immersive. Could interactive horror be the way forward? I'm thinking so! I just finished playing Episode Two: Starved for Help and couldn't turn it off! Man it's been a while since I've leant forward whilst playing like that. IMO - Heavy Rain meets Zombies. Thoughts?

Episode 1 was awesome. Played a bit of 2 yesterday but the start left a few unanswered questions. What the hell happened after the lights went out at the end of episode 1? I was expecting some kind of mass zombie attack

There definitely isn't enough interactive games around. I loved being able to choose what my character said and did. I'm eagerly awaiting for Episode 3 and the next season. It reminds me of Heavy Rain meets Highschool of the Dead.

Just finished episode 5. Un ****ing believable!!!! I don't even want to do spoilers but Tell Tale has already announced a Season Two. At first I thought.... new characters? Or, do they go with what they have? Sit through the creds at the end of 5 though, for a little surprise. I just can't believe at how effed up the story got and I was genuinely upset at some points... don't want to go into specifics. Plus I love that you get a platinum for playing it all the way through.

Is there another walking dead the game thread? I searched and didn't find it. Instead of making fun why not just link the Walking Dead the Game thread here and then people can find it.

The Walking dead is also a very nice horror movies and also an interesting game. And its gameplay is adventure with some action and it has also a plot story.

Best game of the year by far. I'm loving the game, really good settings and characters. Am always baffled with things that happen that are beyond my control. I'm on the third episode atm :D (Thanks CGoodno!)

Loved it, but for some reason Episode 5 didn't save my previous choices and at the end it said I had done completely different things.

B Man Loved it, but for some reason Episode 5 didn't save my previous choices and at the end it said I had done completely different things. Yeah that happened to me in act 2 going to 3. I think it was cause I was playing offline since my internet was out and some of the save files might have mixed up =S I have some of Act2 achievements not obtained because of it.

acemonkey is the game any good without spoiling it for me? Yeah the game is great, makes you make the tough decisions. It's surprising sometimes seeing what you chose, once you immerse yourself. But you have to know the type of gameplay youre getting. It isnt a zombie killer but it's a situation simulator.

acemonkey is the game any good without spoiling it for me? It's not a shooter, it's a modern point and click adventure. It's very well done, and dialogues are a big part of the game. Think Sam & Max but with a more mature setting. It also has action movements where you have to react quickly, etc. But again, not a action game. More adventure.

Yes. Yes it is. And there were times when I regretted picking certain decisions even though there was barely a better decision. And there are tons of WTF moments (in a very good way.) I bought it before PS+ got it for free. Worth every penny.
