Eiffel One Hit Wonder-Style. Might be true, but that guy will be able to live very comfortably off of that one hit for the rest of his existence.

That's kind of crazy, 1/8 of the worlds population has seen that video, especially when it's the video of a chimp having sex with a frog that should be #1.

TheLastGuardian thebudgetgamer I can't wait for the follow up, Gangnam again. I don't get it. Either he's referring to a follow up hit song from the tubes like say Charlie Sheen, Bed Intruder, etc. Or he's talking about PSY, which we all know you can't replicate success as big as that. It's a one time deal, after that it's mediocrity till the day you die. Just like Mc Hammer.

But Eiffy, Psy's been a pretty successful artist in Korea for a while now. I wouldn't call him a One-hit wonder, but at the same time, you're right, it'll be a cold day in hell when he replicates this kind of success again.

His target market. I'd say he's going to be fine.

My point is Gangnam Style more or less will be his only international hit. Beyond Korea he's not going to get that same ground again, despite his target demographic. Internationally he'll fade into mediocrity, it's all trends anyhow.

Eiffel One Hit Wonder-Style. He was big before Gangnam Style, but just not on a global scale. Which is why he did a song for the Olympics in Korea. The point of his song was to spread Korean culture, which he has done. Probably see more K-Pop concerts/Korean food places/Korean clothing styles world wide now. (if there isn't already) He has basically exposed Korean culture to the world. I think it was DBSK, BoA, Se7en, Rain, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, SNSD who has tried, but did not get the success that PSY has to get the attention on a global scale.
