All things that go big are crooked in one way or another.  My wife has taught me that (she is very knowledgeable in business and has a Masters in Accounting--I married up!).  That's why I support small businesses.  They're typically less criminal and more honest that big businesses.

And, yeah, I am lumping Future Publishing into that as well.

When it's about money, people will do what they can to get it.  Just look at the backstabbing people do in the submissions queue.

Just look at the backstabbing people do in the submissions queue. 

On numerous occasion's, i have actually changed my submission From a Potential 500 Degrees Story to a Worthless Review, so that the other guy who submitted this story from his site can get some hits.

Guess i'm not gonna make it big.

Yeah, but you don't post submissions from your own site.  Now, look at many of the people who post submissions from just their site.  Or, look at people who post submissions just for fueling their fanboyish desires.

Edit:  Dishonored so far is about an 8/10 for me.  Even if it gets better, it won't go to a 9/10 but it could get as low as 7/10 if it doesn't stay the same.

A 7/10 isn't a bad score though. A 7/10 is a good score. That's another thing wrong with the current generation. Anything below 8 is suddenly bad. When in reality, even a 6/10 can be a decent game.

A 7/10 isn't a bad score though. A 7/10 is a good score. That's another thing wrong with the current generation. Anything below 8 is suddenly bad. When in reality, even a 6/10 can be a decent game. 

 


Depends on what scale you're looking at, the majority of reviewers use the 10 point scale but rarely score games below a 6 (even when they deserve it)

It has some, IMHO, serious design flaws that prevent it from being "that good".  The story itself isn't bad, but even if it's great it can't compete with design flaws.


And, I never said 7/10 was bad.  I said what my review of it would be.  


You guys should probably not fill in blanks like you're posting on the front page or something.
