Luck can be good or bad... luck can be seen as a tragedy or a blessing
Therefore luck is a miracle. Miracle is just a word people made up to use because they cannot explain something. If the miracle is that he lived, what do you call what happened to his car? Hes lucky that he lived, but unlucky that his mode of transportation, something that can be a person's livelihood is now gone.
