HALO 4 Reviewed by IGN 9.8 - Thursday, November 01, 2012 2:13 AM ( #1 )
Halo 4 got a 9.8 from IGN. AW YEAAAAA

Would have been a 10 if they went back to their previous grading scale.

Just one week left!

Scores still matter to you?

I'm enjoying the Sh!t out of a 4/10 game.

Yeah it seems this is happening more and more.... I know sony pulled ads from gamespot over a ratchet and clank review awhile back...

when games get too high or too low you have to have to take it with a grain of salt...

I rather believe gamers that have played the game and take their word over any of the press in general...  that said... Halo 4 does look pretty bad ass...

Also I thought IGN does not do percentages any more... thought it was round to .5 or whole number???

I am glad IGN is using the decimal point system again, but 9.8, why not 10, looks ridiculous tbh

The non-game-playing residents of the N4G forum still don't like 360 exclusive games even though they don't play games to begin with.

This just made my day. Carry on.

I think around one month ago man, not sure why, but they also revamped their review system design at the same time, they ditched the sound, graphics, play value score system, and just list positives, and negatives now, Preferred the old one tbh

I don't have to. My platoon is from Halo 2,3, and also Reach. My friends list is full of people - who actually play games online. -

*Special Note* I used to have about 30 people from N4G on my friends list. Over time I ended up deleting them all because they were never online. Some were inactive for over a year even.

Same here, i remember adding over 50 Members during the releases of Gran Turismo 5 & Killzone 3, but soon after that almost everyone stopped showing up, so i replaced them with some gamer's who actually played some games.

Ahh, I wondered why you deleted me. It was probably around the time my phat 360 broke and I used it purely to watch NetFlix. Those were dark times.

Expect the same cores for Black Ops II, ones in the future and ones in space. Who didn't expect to see Halo 4 get high scores, doesn't mean the game is any good, ala COD.

I and others have moved on from Halo
I don't expect people to go back to that kiddy universe
GTA5 is where the next game that will dominate where people would play

Still so confused as to why the Halo 2 remaster is not in the works. I wanted to go through the whole series again(Minus ODST).
