Anyone else getting this? Finally a Monster Hunter(ish) game that supports online. I've put a few hours into it and its basically a more japanese Monster hunter with cooler looking attacks. Just hoping that the combos don't need to be memorized because their are so many. It also looks really good visually. I got my roommate to buy it so I could have someone to play with online. Basically the gameplay is exactly like monster hunter: Missions from a HQ and Tavern, timed missions(max 30min), kill stuff/gather stuff/fight giant boss, no xp system, pick up weapons and items to create stronger equipment, farm bosses for rare drops. The only thing they don't have is the farm area where you plant/harvest stuff - which I don't mind saving all that time between missions picking crops, searching webs, fishing, mining - all drops are from dead enemies or boxes scattered around the maps. The game has six classes that all play VERY differently, especially when you have the Archer/Mage classes that are basically not to be touched by enemies. I wish they would drop a demo so more people would get interested, so if anyone is on the fence, I found a good video that helps get the point across:

Got this, Smart As, and Dokuru this week. I like this game. I use the hammer guy. I hope the weapons start to look different later on, and not just different stats. Online is good and have no problem finding people to play with.

-MD- kissme2 one of my game choice on vita..love this game That says a lot about the state of Vita's library. It says something about his taste in games, not the Vita's library. And if you think Ragnarok Odyssey is a bad game because of it's Metascore (66), think again. Hell, Jim Sterling of all people gave it a 9/10. All this bashing of the Vita's library is so uncalled for. It's got loads of good games. I've played about 15 Vita games so far and all of them are good.

Picked up this along with persona 4. I'm having a good time with it. Trying to get some gold weapons and good cards to tune up for the tougher EX missions. I'm trying to figure out some of the mechanics of refining like knowing what causes skills on weapons to upgrade (random or if a certain factor is involved).
