How much would you pay for?

I have a quick question. Ive been hired to create a large painting for a new nursery opening up in my neighborhood. It is to possibly be done on the wall ala mural style or on a giant canvas. Ive created some normal size final pieces that ive submitted to the buyer and hes thoroughly satisfied with the picture. He's now ready to go forward with the actual project and im wondering how much (an estimate) would you charge for this kind of job? I have none of the materials and he said he'll cover that as well as my charging fee. Im just trying to get some estimates as to how much i should request. Really appreciate the feedback

What's the size of the wall? Also gotta take into consideration and estimate how much time you think it would take you to do it.

As far as I know, nobody here is going to be able to give you a very good answer. I'd ask a web community that has experience in this sort of thing.
My soul is still dancing.

To help you out, think about how much you'll charge per hr Say it takes you 25 hrs And you charge $15 per hr It would be $375

Most artists I know who do murals that size charge a few thousand ($5-8k; though, that includes cost of supplies that they provide themselves). Remember, you're selling your rights to the artwork, giving them custom work for 'aesthetic' advertising, and spending a few days doing it. It's also a niche job to do, so demand comes into play. Do some Web searches for local muralists. See how much they charge. Go from there. Also, don't forget that, if there's a contract, you may have to come out to perform touch-ups in the first few months to a year as part of the price. Take that into account as well. If this is your first, you might want to low-ball it.

with the time frame and size you said, I personally would charge around £250, so around $500, that's just me though
