What about it?  It's coming and there isn't a single thing we can do to stop it.  Well, except by yelling USA.

Now if only people would start yelling USA every time Mitt Romney opens his mouth.

Climate change is a political issue and it is up to the government to decide whether we should change the climate or not.

Romney voters are against climate change. Hence the boo'ing, as well as chanting USA. They think their country's current climate is fine. Obama supporters are for climate change (hence the 'Vote for change' slogan). It is also why Obama approves hurricanes instead of outlawing them. Romney would've never allowed a hurricane to hit New York like that.

Jesus Christ, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. As an engineer working in the renewable energy industry, this is a big issue for me and I hate when science plays second fiddle to political/religious ideology. Even if they don't 'believe' in climate change, has it not occurred to these fools that fossil fuels are FINITE? I could go on and on about this, but I'll restrain myself. I like Richard Heinberg's analogy of the economy when he says that it's like we're on a train, heading towards a brick wall, and we're telling the train to go faster.

LOL

How climate change and tackling renewable resources hasn't been a bigger concern is ridiculous. I know America is in huge debt, and there are million unemployed, but people this issue still shouldn't be ignored.

America has been hit by freaky weather this year, it may or may not be down to climate change, but someone needs to raise the question. Also, did they not see the reactions of people in New York yesterday when people were trying to get gasoline? Someone pulled a gun on another driver. When the oil runs out people will ask "why didn't we spend more time debating renewable energy."

That "USA, USA, USA" chant sucks. You murricans tried using it in the Ryder Cup and you looked like fools.

@r2k - You don't see the absurdity of a crowd yelling "USA" at someone who is talking about climate change? Sure, he's being rude interrupting Romney's empty talking points, but that doesn't change the fact that they're yelling "USA" to drown out a guy who wants Romney to discuss climate change, something that greatly impacts the country they supposedly love. I'm surprised those knuckledraggers didn't start throwing bibles at him.

According to the laws of thermodynamics, energy can not be created or destroyed. If energy currently exists, then it will always exist, thus there is no energy crisis.

You don't have people in wherever you're from that embarrass you? I'm pretty sure most Americans don't do stuff like that. I'll never use those ignorant people from your country and judge the rest of you based on that.

I don't know what I was thinking, celebrating something you worked your whole life for is a terrible thing.

Everyone in these forums should know by now that I'm not a big fan of tree-hugging, liberal peace hippies but even I myself truly believe that there is a climate change going on.

Brits got "dental inferiority complex syndrome" hence why they sometimes act like that.

they do the same chant whenever anyone interrupts like the guy said. it would be absurd if they somehow changed that just for this special fella.

Romney knows. We have to invest in the Navy.

We will use the carriers to go to the south, take the ice growing from there, and then transport it to the north.
The transportation, along with the building of new ships, will lead to more jobs for hard working americans.
There, global warming, national defense and unemployment solved with one stone.
