My Xbox360 charger stopped working?

Well about two years ago I got an xbox360, black and white controller, chargable battery pack, charger, etc. Well, now, the charger cable droops down, since when I played the controller would be in my hands and charging, obviously the cord went down. But the problem is, now whenever I straighten out the cord, like say put the controller on the ground where the cable is straight and not drooping down, it says that the controller needs to be reconnected, the only way to have it charging and playing is to constantly have it drooping down which will just make the problem worse....So aside buying a new one, which I plan on doing anyway, are there any ways to fix it?

Get with the times man. Get rechargeable batteries and ditch the play and charge kits. Consider yourself lucky it lasted 2 years. Everyone I had died after a year of use.

Either way those battery packs drain as fast as an HP camera on Duracells.

1 year and it died? mine lasted almost 6 years  it just died earlier this year  but yeah I switched to rechargeable batteries

I don't even think mine lasted a full year.  Now it's just a wired controller since it has to be plugged up at all times.

Wow Microsofts hardware is horrendous.
