the console is sold out literally everywhere but then again, that happened even with the PS3 at $600... Wii U feels like they are just catching up really and the controller doesn't look like anything exciting either. Specially when the DS already did the dual screen thing and to be honest, it was total garbage.

I think I might get one when Aliens: Colonial Marines comes out for it. If that turns out crap, then I'll just make sure I've got one in time for Zelda. Could also be interesting to play COD with a Wiimote.

Thing is, the games look at best as good as the PS360 games or in many games not even up to them. Why buy a console that does the same or even less? I've seen nothing for WiiU that even comes close to the Last of Us on PS3. Just buy it for that bulky tablet controller???

Wow, this thing is coming out in two weeks lol. I doubt i'll get one, but ZombieU looks good though, i would definitely like to try that. Besides, there are too many games coming out that i want, or want to try. Hitman, FarCry3, MGS: Ground Zeroes, GOW: ascension, Beyond, TLU, MGS Rising, Bioshcock Infinite etc. I'd rather spend time and money on those games than on a console that could be hit or miss when it comes to core games.

Well, the tablet and its implementation in games is kind of the big selling point. As opposed to the PS4/720, which'll likely have prettier corridor shooters as their selling point. Either ways, I'm buying neither on launch. Would rather wait until they release a version with improved hardware and until the system has a better game lineup.

No, way to expensive, also, because Xbox and PS3 are still getting multiplats, so does the Wii U, but when developers focus on next gen PS, and Xbox, third party support will decrease.

I was talking to Bloodmask a while back and he said he would be buying a WiiU.

thinking I was talking to Bloodmask a while back and he said he would be buying a WiiU. Mask claimed to have bought and own a PS3 fat too. That never happened.

Have zero interest in this one. Unless they get a lot of good looking exclusives in the next few years and the price drops considerably, I won't be getting one at all.

Getting one during or shortly after the Holidays, and really quite excited. Haven't owned a Nintendo console since the N64 actually, and that was probably my favourite console that I've owned in my lifetime. Obviously not going to be a replacement for a PS4 or 720 (of which I will buy one, won't decide which until I see both), or my PC, but it will be a nice complement to whatever I'm playing on those platforms. Especially excited for New Super Mario Bros U, Rayman Legends and the new Metroid and Zelda games. Also, a new 3D Mario game would be killer. Also, I really hope DK64 hits Virtual Console. Unlike most other Rare games, Nintendo still owns full rights to it, but it still hasn't made an appearance Another thing - Bloodmask, eh? He's still around? Haha, I guess the old N4G crew is still around as I remember it

TheRot nope the mods permabanned bloodmask Well, I suppose that isn't all that surprising. Anyway yeah, looking forward to getting my Wii U. Never bothered with the Wii because I hate the motion control gimmick - same reason I never bothered with Move or Kinect - but I'm liking the gamepad a lot. Graphically, I really, honestly, truly couldn't care less. I have my PC and whatever next-gen console I'll end up with to satisfy that realm of gaming.

Nocturnus32 I'm not getting one either. I will wait for the PS4 and the 720. I lied. My wife said she really wanted a Mario game again and I decided rather than get a Wii or another 3DS I might as well get the new Wii U. Glad I did, ZombiU is awesome and NSMBU is pretty fun as well. Now they need to release Mario Galaxy 3 and a Zelda game.

How about Sunshine 2 (we don't need another Galaxy just yet), a new Starfox Game, a new Donkey Kong Game akin to Donkey Kong 64. Would be wonderful for a new Kirby game. We don't need a new Zelda yet, the newest one just came out.

Too bad Rare isn't around to make decent platformers anymore, but I still have faith in Nintendo revitalising the 3D DK series
