Primaries always have lower voter turnout than General Elections anyway, so in an election he would have got far more than the above.

Here is another reason why the GOP lost badly. It is called simple math. The following statistics were put together by Hamdan Azhar, writing for policymic.com. It reveals that, “in no less than five states, Romney’s margin of loss to President Obama in the general election was less than the number of votes received by Ron Paul in that state’s primary.” Although not all of the votes have been counted and recorded yet, the trend is obvious.

  Yeah this just isn't correct. You are assuming that Romney voters would have supported Ron Paul just because you did. In 2000 I voted for Nader. They say that cost Gore the election. No it didn't. A) I never would have voted for Gore. B) Pre 9/11 GW was the better candidate on my list C) Those weren't Gore's votes (don't know how hard that idea is to beat into some Democrats heads.) D) Nader was by far the best choice. E) Tipper Gore and her PMRC were not wanted on Capitol Hill.

Freaky. I am not a conspiracy theorist (ie I don't buy the illuminati garbage) so I will remain skeptical. But, in this day and age, it certainly seems possible if not downright true. I wouldn't put it over on Rove. But the failure to do so ruins his chances politically.... he has no more push when people lost millions and millions betting on his guy. If this is true, on behalf of freedom loving, Americans everywhere, we thank you, anonymous.
