I played for about 1.5 hours. It is really good so far. I did 2 campaign levels and played a MP match. Now I am going to bed.

I'm interested in seeing just how much money went into the hype-machine, or if it truly DOES re-invent itself as some reviewers claim
- "Oh. Hi. So. How are you holding up? BECAUSE I'M A POTATO!"

When Harper talks, all I can picture is Merle from The Walking Dead. (Michael Rooker does the voice.)

This is the first Call of Duty in the entire series that I haven't bought. I'm holding out too, enough is enough....I see it for what it really is now. There should be a group for people like us, people that have been unplugged from the matrix, so to speak. Stay strong, brother. Stay strong.

My only issue with COD is after COD4 the perks have became too over powered... Becomes more of a perk game rather than a shooter. And the thing about people complaining about it being not worth the money since "it's pretty much the same game". Most people that play it spends days of hours playing just COD so each year $120 for the game and all the maps with a new campaign isn't a bad deal. But yea the biggest gripe with COD for me is the overpowered perks and with all the money they make they couldnt invest in the best servers possible? And I dont plan on buying COD or any other military FPS in the near future but that's because the genre is just boring now for me.

I think that argument is pretty much from Single Player Campaign gamers, like myself. Multiplayer be damned. $60.00 for a 4 hour copy paste campaign is just wrong.

Stay strong. i dont buy them i get them as gifts but MW2 i think killed it for me so ****ing broken...double shotguns (them old 1940 ones or whatever) or somebody running knife on the hand gun with the perks that made that way to over power(i forget the perks name) but i do like spec ops in the games (maybe i just like co ops) and zombie mode is cool to past time (i just know this zombie mode is more of a story i guess that makes me like it more) but im not rushing to the store to pick this up even when ign is giving it an 9.3 which i kinda dont trust ign....more of a gametrailers 9.4 lol...i rather wait until tomorrow morning and see a trailer for a game that doesnt come out until god knows when lol

I hear you, but I've gotten more than my monies worth from Zombies mode alone.

CoD4's perks were pretty overpowered too. 3x frags + sonic boom + martrydom. No skill required. It uses p2p servers anyways, so it's not like they had much to invest in.

Yup! Just finished the campaign, took about 8hrs on normal, seemed pretty long for a CoD game. But the story was great, it had multiple possible outcomes, strike force missions (RTS-like) etc. Multiplayer is fun, not much lag from what I could tell. Shooting is solid. Haven't tried zombies yet, but so far it seems like a solid game with tons of content.

Just got it. Haven't got into story mode but can't wait (Black ops story was epic) Played a few rounds of domination and had a lot of fun? Lol what else am I supposed to say. COD is fun. End of story. Love the pick 10 system, the score streaks, the maps, the zombies, the new equipment/score streaks. Basically if you like COD then you're going to like Black Ops 2. Dont know how COD haters will like it as it is basically Black Ops with a new skin. But that doesn't bother me. In the end it feels a little more fresh and is still fun to play. Noticed that I'm getting much better k/d ratio then in MW3, so....

MP is fun... it feels the same in some ways but the load outs of it has change which give it a more of a slight slight RPG feeling... being able to to pick or load out on 10 items... so if you can handle iron sights or less a grip or faster mag reloads you can have four perks what not..also being able to do the load outs is very simple love it how they changed this up... SO far.. it is great...

Not gonna lie, i would like to try this. The branching story mode and the new "Pick 10" system for multiplayer seem like a nice idea.
